My wife likes this place. Stopped in here a couple of times because of the truckstop parking. However the locals don't leave many spaces for parking. This is a very busy place because of the prices are reasonable. Nice people here, with Christian music. Food is okay too.

My meal was an Italian omelet with cubed potatoes and a side of coffee cake. A lot of food for a small price. Definitely would recommend. I got a peekaboo which was an over medium egg inside my omelet. Yum!

I really enjoyed my meal at the Goldenrod Cafe on the east edge of town in Hastings, NE. It was recommended to me by one of my excellent high school students who works there (I'm a well-respected substitute teacher for HPS) and what impressed me the most was how affordable and low they've managed to keep their prices even after our recent inflation spikes in the economy AND the portion sizes for their breakfast items seemed generous/above-average.
