Burgers are always very good but opted for the brisket sandwich and loaded baked potato today. That a very good decision, waitress was awesome and service was great ! If in town it’s a must for a good lunch.

Was in town and met a college friend at a former college favorite of ours...for lunch on a Nebraska Cornhusker game day. We chose the Wheel because they have many televisions, thus many opportunities to watch the game...you would think that the Huskers would be playing everywhere...nope, just one tiny television in the corner. if you weren't one of the fifteen people in that corner of the bar, forget watching the game. Worse yet, they didn't have the radio broadcast playing either. Regarding the food and service...one waitress was assigned a large area of the restaurant. We ordered a burger and a club sandwich each with fries and iced teas...my fries were very overdone...dark brown almost to burnt. My friend's were just the opposite - very undercooked. The waitress never came back to ask if we needed anything. We couldn't hail down the waitress to get refills, so I went to the bar to ask for more tea. Food and drinks were priced fairly, except they charged 25 cents for a slice of onion on the burger, and 55 cents for ranch dressing....most other places it is free (just like ketchup and mustard). Needless to say, our visit to the Wheel was far from overwhelming.

I had the brisket dinner and later on that night and still ongoing stomach flu or maybe it was salmonella poisoning from different restaurants but yes started late that night on my very birthday which I did request popcorn shrimp and fries and they had none

The bone in chicken basket…. Well it was raw. Even though we were participating in an event and sat at the upper deck we were told we had to stay at the bottom. Idk overall we were left wanting. Service was slow, food was bland.

Murphy’s is a bar and grill housed in a historic building in downtown Hastings, Nebraska. They serve burgers, sandwiches and a few other items along with beer. Service is fast and friendly. Reuben sandwiches are tasty.

Place is way overpriced! Charged me a whole dollar for lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion, and mayo! I did not receive my sweet potato fries until a good 15 minutes after I finished my meal. The service sucked, and the waitress had lousy customer service. Left absolutely zero tip! Took forever to take my order and they were not busy, I had to ask for more tea, and I also had to ask where my sweet potato fries were cuz they did not come out on the plate. I might show back up for the cheap Burgers LOL
