Special Scoops Ice Cream Parlor

Love this ice cream shop! The staff is so friendly! The scoops are huge and there are so many flavors and toppings to choose from! Wish we lived closer!

Great ice cream and employees

After a hot afternoon of softball games it was a nice treat to try something new!

Ice cream was fine but service was strange, it wasn’t busy at all but everyone seemed frantic and frazzled. Was given the wrong item, the guys behind the counter were not friendly and needed help but the lady at the front just yelled back to them instead of actually helping them.

Ice cream was not great. Loved the gift shop and the charity they are supporting. Very friendly. Got some Body oil and lotion I love. Will continue to support!

We hosted my mother a graduation party at special scoops. The party was paid on November 6th. They wrote it in the calendar. We showed up at the agreed time and no one was there. The lady that showed up was extremely rude and said she didn’t know anything about it, it’s been wrote in the calendar. They were utterly rude and had an attitude about a party space that was paid for and almost refused to let us in.

This is our go to Ice Cream option! My kids love the large variety and the customer service is excellent! Such a wonderful opportunity for the employees as well!

I see they added wheelchair access, couldn't get in 1st time had a high step, I'll need to try an other time

Great place,friendly staff, great variety. Just no sure about the pricing. We got a banana split and a malt. According to the website it should have been 8.50. However we paid $17. Oh well, it went to a good cause,but a bit misleading.

I applaud the cause and have been a good customer since moving here. My son received a coupon from his elementary school on his last day of fifth grade because of a downpour and the truck needing to leave. He was told he could use it anytime. Well he tried today. Had his coupon, went to the cashier (presumably the owner) and she said it had to be within two months (his last day of school was May 21st so technically within her two month time frame) and she literally yanked his cone away and threw it away. So she preferred to waste food then let a kid celebrate his advancement to middle school. I went in there to ask about it and she said “oh” when I pointed out that we were within her identified timeframe and then made the excuse that the school already paid the bill. When asked shouldn’t she honor the coupon then, she said no. It just seems wild to me that a cone was refused and thrown away rather than letting a kid have it. Oh well, business lost in the future.

A veteran and his service dog, wearing a highly visible service vest was turned away from your establishment. Please educate yourself on why this action is not only sad but illegal.

I am a disabled combat veteran with a service dog. I was denied service by Scoops because I had my service dog with me. I find it very ironic that an organization set up to support people with disabilities would discriminate against someone with a disability. If you want to support veterans do not support this organization
