First time trying this place. I was impressed with the atmosphere. I am simple & don't appreciate loud music blaring. This place was quiet & seating was not crowded to where you're elbow to elbow with your table neighbor. Our server was very new & did a good job with this being her first job of this nature. *Kudos's Santanna. The portion size to be honest, was surprisingly nice. The menu is not over bearing with decent choices. The cost for a family of four with a "dad beer" & soft drinks didn't break the bank. I would go into detail of our food choices but this would be super long and boring. I will mention their bread pudding is delicious. I recommend trying it and getting an order to go as well. Yummy!. I will be going back & trying other menu items!!

The waffle fry nachos are fantastic! Honestly I think everything we've had here was a hit. Chicken Alfredo, Spin Art sandwich with a chicken breast, fish and chips, the kids mac and cheese is really good! I love the fresh green beans and I could eat their mashed potatoes by the pound.

We ate at The Mettle Grill last night. I had the Reuben with sweet potato fries and my husband had a beef philly with mashed potatoes. Our food came out quickly and was amazing. The service was great, nice atmosphere, and delicious, reasonably priced food. Both if our sandwiches had plenty of fresh meat and ingredients. We will definitely eat here again, give it a try!

The waitress dropped ranch all over my friend's clothes. And our phillies, we're full of grease.Then I ordered coffee and I had a lot of grounds in my cup. Then she made a new pot. And then it was fine. She brought us the check and didn't take anything off. Until I asked her, but the whole thing should have been free because it was terrible.

I can’t give feedback on the food, as we never got ours or was even acknowledged by the waitstaff after we got our drinks. After waiting 45 min. and those who came in after us ( including a table of 6) all got their food. We tried flagging down or waiter and he didn’t even look at us, we left and went to Amigos.
Maybe it was an off day, but the server made us feel like a burden by asking for anything. She also seemed condescending to my partner when she asked what was on draft. Further, the food was not amazing. My burger was pretty decent but my partner's fish seemed like it was cooked in old, greasy oil. The fish itself was fine, but the breading was really bad. That being said, the dining room was welcoming and modern, and the fries were tasty!

Firstly, I would like to correct a lot of misconception that management is unprofessional. If you have ever been in the restaurant business, you have 100 things going on at once and prioritizing the needs of everyone is not possible because all are important. If you give a 1 star for Marconi off the kids menu, make it at home where you can't complain. Every single aspect of the restaurant is run amazingly. Put yourself in others shoes and then determine your rating. Thanks everyone at The Mettle. I will return frequently.
Not going to lie, I wish this was still the Parthenon. That said Mettle Grill is really good bar food. For my first time I got the bacon cheeseburger just to set a baseline and it was great. Fries were cooked perfectly and had great seasoning.My partner got the peanut butter burger and loved it. It's a type of burger she loves and she said this was one of the best she's had in town.When we go back I'm getting that chicken fried steak. I saw someone else order it and instantly wish I had gotten it.Beer selection was just alright. A little bit of everything for everyone. Very safe crowd pleasers.The room was pretty bland. Just a big open space with not much on the walls. When the weather changes we'll definitely come back for the patio

Oh my God, the food here is so good. Everytime I go here I order a Reuben. The only somewhat bad thing is the men's stalls in the bathroom don't lock because the key is too low. But it's still a 11/10
