I can't tell you about the food or service. Their app sucks!! Can't get it to work!!
After a lengthy wait we got our order, in it we asked for fries without salt, they looked like they were thrown back in the fryer to cook off the salt, they were inedible. My wife's burger came to us barely warm, closer to cold, I asked for a replacement which they did, it was a little better. My food items actually came fairly hot, but unenjoyable because of my wife's dismall food.
We won't be stopping back at any Sonic in the foreseeable future,
Avoid this place.
As I sit here waiting in stall #18 for 13 min now I am reminded why I think that they should bulldoze this place and sell ground to a Burger King franchise. Heck I'm not out much time just driving to get BK !
P.S.17 min now. If you really want to eat the same day you order you might go somewhere else
Poor service waited at car hop for 15 minutes and nobody took my order so went to drive r thru for another 10 minutes ended up leaving with nothing
Last time I was there pushed red button got activated screen but after 20 minutes still nothing there was only 1 other car in a spot. So after trying to get their app to work I left.
Don’t say you’re open until 10p if you’re going to shut the lights off at 9:58p when a car pulls into the lot to place and order because the app isn’t working.
Ordered a breakfast sandwich, coffee, and a pretzel… but had to alter the order because they ran out of croissants. I played and included a tip thinking it would be fine. Then when she finally delivered the order 30 min later and said her pretzels were moldy but if I came back tomorrow she’d make it right…. I was stopping through on the way to Denver. When I told her that she giggled a bit like “oh bummer” but never offered me a refund. I was anxious to get back on the road as I didn’t think I’d be stopped that long. It wasn’t worth the cost of a pretzel and tip for me to argue. The sandwich was cold, coffee and tots were ok.
Pushed the button to order at the drive in kiosk. Waited 5 minutes and no one answered. So we went somewhere else🤷🏼♂️
Prices on menu boards have all went up but doesn’t reflect on the menu boards so they just charge you much more , and asked for ketchup and they said they were out. How does a burger place not have ketchup. I’d say it’s VERY VERY POORLY MANAGED
The worst sonic in central Nebraska. Intercoms never work. Service is snail paced. I don’t know how or why people keep coming here

Very slow service
Ordered my normal Fries and Milk Shake . Food was served fast and fresh, didn’t have to repeat myself at the window.
Have ordered here many times, all different ways (ex: drive-thru, parked and through the Sonic app.) Everytime have had to wait 20-30 mins for food. Basic meals with slushy drinks every time. The staff acts inconvenienced by having customers, every time we have been there.
Sonic is our go to at home in Lincoln, but the sonic in Holdrege is hands down the worst in all aspects. Will not be returning.
I wanted to give a 1 star....the burger and fries were the worst I've tasted in 12 years no exaggeration, but the lady that helped me was such a nice and kind lady that you've earned a 5 star. Thank you
