“Do you live in polk or surrounding country? Are you hungry? Do you need to catch up on Local gossip or an after work beer? Guess what? You're home! This hometown bar has the best hot beef on Wednesday afternoon and the best prices in this day and age for a decent burger.
Don't order a fancy cocktail order a beer like a real man and you won't be disappointed it's cold and refreshing.
Sportsman's is clean and the staff and customers are friendly, bit just like any small town they recognize outsiders so act right when you come through Polk and you will get friendly service and small town experience with no extra charge!”

“Quick decision on grabbing supper in Columbus NE or fixing it when we got home 30 minutes later. Taco John's won! Daughter & I split 6 pack & a pound. I got 3 meals out of it & my youngin (late teens, athlete, eats like a teenage boy) swiped most of my potato ole's. She's very specific about liking only meat, lettuce & sour cream on her tacos. They were a dream about fixing them her way!”

“Some of the nicest people in town work at this place, the food is always good, (it's Subway, you're the one who makes the sandwich.)But again, they're really good people, I try to always give a decent tip, they deserve it. Some of them have even helped me out with lunch because I didn't get my paycheck, they've offered to jumpstart my car, they do all these awesome things and I just want to say thanks.

Parking: Right outside, there are never too many people because it's such a small town, free WiFi that reaches out to the other side (facing Runza) is the best signal.”
