A Spicy Adventure Packed with Flavor! Last week, on August 11th, my husband and I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant to celebrate my birthday. Thanks to a friend's recommendation, we decided to dive into the culinary adventure by ordering the highly anticipated steak fingers, renowned for their spiciness. Eager to put our taste buds to the test, I made a playful inquiry about the dish's heat level, expressing my desire for a culinary experience that would leave me feeling the heat the next morning. Our server kindly conveyed my request to the chef, and what followed was beyond our expectations. Within minutes, the chef himself appeared at our table, introducing himself as Jeff Larson. He inquired about the authenticity of our request, gauging our affinity for spice. As we explained our background in Arizona, where spicy food was a way of life, we learned that Chef Larson hailed from Louisiana—a state synonymous with bold flavors and fiery cuisine. With a twinkle in his eye, he accepted the challenge and playfully cautioned us about the potential repercussions. Undaunted, I boldly declared, "BRING IT ON, Son!" True to his word, Chef Larson brought forth a dish that, while not scorching hot, was a testament to his culinary prowess. Although the heat may not have reached the inferno I had envisioned, it was more than compensated for by an explosion of complex flavors that danced across our taste buds. My husband and I found ourselves immersed in a gastronomic journey, each bite more delectable than the last. The steak fingers were a medley of textures and tastes, a symphony of flavors that showcased Chef Larson's expertise. As we savored each morsel, we found ourselves exchanging enthusiastic glances and compliments, our mutual admiration for the dish evident in every nod and smile. With every bite, it became increasingly clear that Chef Larson was indeed a master of his craft, adeptly balancing heat and flavor to create a memorable dining experience. In retrospect, the anticipation of a fiery challenge transformed into an appreciation for the culinary artistry that Chef Larson brought to the table. His willingness to engage with patrons and cater to their unique preferences demonstrated a commitment to ensuring a remarkable dining adventure for every guest. While my expectations of an unforgettable spice-induced awakening might not have been fully met, the journey we embarked upon was one that left us delighted and craving for more. In conclusion, our visit to the restaurant was not just a celebration of my birthday, but also a celebration of the art of cuisine. Chef Jeff Larson's steak fingers might not have set our taste buds ablaze, but they certainly ignited our appreciation for his mastery in the kitchen. We left the restaurant with satisfied palates, grateful for the experience, and with a newfound admiration for the fusion of flavors that made our evening truly exceptional.
Classic old saloon. Loved the decor. Can't go wrong with wood and taxidermy. I had the pork fritter sandwich. Delicious. Stop by if you're on the Cowboy Trail

Amazing atmosphere, small town bar/grill. After our first visit, everyone knows our name--it's like we're part of the family. Great food, awesome people working here, open every day of the week. It's our new favorite eating place while we're in town for the summer job. I'd recommend this place to anyone.
