Have never been to this restaurant before. Many items to choose from. Upon ordering a salsa bar, it was to the side of the counter, and chips didn't know if they were free or an additional charge. When food was received, heavy on beans and rice otherwise was very bland. Tried to doctor the food up. For the price just didn't meet our expectations.
If you want a Southern California taco shop experience, this is the place!! HUGE burritos! My go-to is the California burrito (sub the pico de gallo for guacamole for the true CaB experience) with the 3 rolled taco w/ cheese and guac. Wash it down with a horchata or jamaica. All that is missing is a short walk to the beach.

Got two orders of the 5 for $5.99 deal, one was fine and the other was too salty. I brought the order back. When I told them it was too salty, they let me try the new batch of meat before making me new tacos. Which was perfect. Thank you Abelardo’s!
