First time eating at an Amigos/Kings Classic. Service was friendly and fast. Tacos and the salsa bar were fantastic. Tried a Cheese Frenchie but thought it was just OK. Going back to try some of the other Mexican offerings. Oh, and the French fries were fabulous.

I went here with my wife and she got sick soon after eating the food and was not well for a couple days. The service was great and quick, but I'm not so sure all of the food was properly heated. We ordered 2 soft tacos, meat nachos, and a crisp meat burrito. I've ordered from Amigo's many times before and have experienced issues with the fried burritos being heated through. From past experience have reason to suspect the crisp meat burrito my wife ordered was the source of the illness.

Last week me and the little one went to get our Amigos fix. Even though we have 2 locations fairly close to the house we make it a point to frequent the one at 15th & Pine Lake. They always get my order right and generally have excellent customer service.
I have to mention the (presumably) 3 employees trying to run the whole show. Obviously understaffed I was still greeted quickly and told they would be with me as soon as possible. While I waited I noted how calm, cool, and collected the team was. One held down the line while the other 2 ran around each volunteering to do the next thing.
Above all they were kind. To me but also to each other, very much so. I'm sure they got an earful from many frustrated customers in the busy drive thru. Our food was great, another experience that cemented my patronage at this location. ❤️
Vegetarian options: You can sub black beans or refried beans on just about any item.
Kid-friendliness: One of my kids' favorite places! Discounted kids meals in the evening and all weekend. Comes with ice cream!

I haven't ate at this location a lot but this last time was a real disappointment. IDK what happened in the kitchen but there was some funky things that ended up in the taco meat that shouldn't have been. They should have thrown that mix out and made another. I couldn't finish mine and literally had to keep myself from getting sick while at work.

They were supposed to be done remodeling a month ago. Still not done yet. And they're the thermostat on the wall you couldn't help but notice was just filthy dirty and was almost done right disgusting. So I wonder what the back looks like if their thermostat on the wall looks filthy.

Idk. Amigos has lost its sparkle. They took their salsa and dressing bar out and now charged $.50 per small cup of dressing. And it's getting kinda expensive. Thanks JB!

Food is lacking. Anytime I go through the drive thru, I never get my entire order, EVER. And now with the stupid high prices here, I would appreciate getting all of my food that I order.
