I’ve been a loyal customer of Amigos for over 30 years. I grew up enjoying cheesy banditos dipped in spic(e)y cheese sauce and mountain dews on an almost weekly basis. Back when they utilized the 2nd floor of their Lincoln restaurants for parties and had the 2nd drive thru lane serviced with a rickety (albeit forward thinking) tray/delivery track system. Nowadays I eat there once or twice a month or so, and it’s always an enjoyable meal. Everything comes out fresh nearly 95%...
The service is great. More importantly the food is excellent and always served at the right temperature. You can tell there are workers at this location that take pride in their work. I usually go over there on Sundays and get a enchilada dinner it's awesome.
Amigos has turned into a run down, late night, hole in the wall with a little less than average food (unless you're shlitz faced). The insides, and outside of these stores are extremely disappointing for a locally owned franchise. Someone no longer takes pride in what they started. It's kind of sad because I remember Amigos being a great dinner spot when I was younger.
