Rude entitled staff with the worst customer service. I’ve only visited this location once before and there was a friendly Asian guy that helped me and they were busy. But this last time I WILL NEVER GO BACK. I went in at 130p to get coffee and buy some coffee beans. I stood at the counter for over 10 mins. They helped the people around me but not me. No acknowledgement like I’ll be with you or one moment. The two girls who were closing completely ignored me as if I wasn’t there. I had to grab the workers attention to let her know I just wanted coffee because she was dumping it out. She said we only have 2 flavors now. I left with nothing. Was a humiliating experience, I felt like I did not belong. I ended up going to Dunkin Donuts on “O” street they were really nice and even though they were busy, they still acknowledged me and I was happy to wait.

I hope the locals realize how good they have it with this gem. I was greeted with a friendly smile and great service. I ordered the lox bagel, a cappuccino and energy infusion. (Because there is never enough caffeine). The moment the perfectly made cappuccino hit my tongue, I knew I had come to the right place. The Lox bagel was also a plate of perfection and so delicious. Energy infusion was a nice cool and tasteful treat.

I tried the home style quiche with sausage and a salad . Connie was outstanding. The food was delicious. I need to come back for a bagel.
Freaking cheap skates, don't offer a military discount and then proceed to rub your nose in it that they don't. It's one thing to tell someone that you don't offer it it's an entirely different thing when you are a jerk/a-hole about it.
Truly for the cost that it would really hinder them it's absolutely pathetic that more businesses don't offer the military discount. But, if you're not going to offer it don't be a jerk about it.
We were really loving this place, but we will not be returning any time soon. Jerks!

Food was absolutely delicious. Staff was extremely friendly. And the atmosphere is great for sitting with friends & family, working on computer or reading.I ordered a sausage breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel with chipotle mayo and basil aoli. All the flavors work great together.I got cheddar cheese but cream cheese would probably work great too.I also got their Iced Caramel latte. Perfect blend of sugar, caramel, and creamer.The sizes are decent for the price and I definitely recommend Bagels and Joe. There's a reason it's been around so long :)

The bigger lady who was working was unnecessarily rude to me. She spoke to me with a condescending tone when I was picking up my mobile order. She loudly scolded me in front of a large crowed about taking my order without “checking in”, something I was unaware of. As somebody who struggles with social anxiety, this was very nerve wracking for me and to me, completely avoidable and should have been handled privately. I will not be visiting this location again.
