Edited 1/2019 to say that the owner sold this and moved to a different location, which is now closed. HOWEVER, "The Bethany Cafe" is still open, but it's a different owner and a completely different menu, atmosphere, everything. Seems to be more bar and grill fare, heavy on the microwave.Loved the scallops special, and especially the roasted Brussels sprouts. Pan roasted chicken was good, but tough. Lemon tart was very lemony, and nice and tart.
Really excellent place if you like biscuits and gravy look no further this place has it and makes them to perfection in my opinion would definitely eat here again. Staff is very friendly!!
Our first visit was a little disappointing, I ordered chicken breast in a mushroom sauce with roasted red potatoes and asparagus. The chicken was not cooked all the way through and so as rubbery, it arrived on a bed of mashed potatoes and roasted brussel sprouts. I am no fan of brussel sprouts it was the one vegetable as a kid that would make me gag. These days I can tolerate them but it would never be something I would order. Plates should have been hotter.
