Never disappointed here no matter what I order!
Wait staff is exceptional-
Tonight it was Kendall- so friendly and personable- but that’s always the experience!!
Recommend to everyone!!
Absolutely the worst place ever! We used to come here on our yearly get-a-way to Lincoln every year. Last year, we had horrible service, but thought we would try again this year. NOPE, same HORRIBLE service....actually we didn't even get service and the place was pretty empty, so we left.
The bartender had 4 people total and never even acknowledged us and neither did the lady cleaning right in front of us...she looked up at us and right back down.

We ordered armadillo eggs which were amazing. For dinner we ordered the Cajun combo and the Cajun nachos. The Cajun combo was so good but that is where everything good stopped. Buzzard Billy's in downtown Lincoln is a popular spot for delicious southern food. Known for its flavorful jambalaya and tasty gator fingers, the menu offers a variety of dishes worth trying. The Buffalo burger is a standout, providing great flavor and value, and is served with hush puppies that are just as good as those from the Deep South. A highlight is the sweet potato waffle fries, and the Cajun Cowboy Burger is often described as a work of art. The restaurant has a large patio, making it a great place for people-watching in the Hay Market. Parking can be a bit tricky with street parking and pay meters, but the food at Buzzard Billy's makes it all worthwhile. Customers have praised the Creole sampler, which includes jambalaya, gumbo, blackened catfish, and beignets. The wait staff is friendly, attentive, and personable, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant's decor feels like a trip back in time to the 1960s, and the restroom is clean and well-maintained. Many visitors enjoy an after-dinner drink at the 70s retro bar downstairs, adding to the fun experience. Overall, Buzzard Billy's offers a great taste of the South in the heart of Lincoln, with a friendly vibe and delicious food that keeps customers coming back.
