The food is always on point and even some of the drinks are a must on certain days! But that Gator never disappoints!!

We stopped in on a Sunday for lunch on the way to the airport. Turns out to be a good time to visit the Haymarket, no games going on, it was very quiet. Service was good, Po Boy sandwich was very good but the hush puppies were not hot and a little hard. That said I will definitely go back.

I'll start with the good, buffalo burger is awesome, the 4 giant mozzarella sticks appetizer is amazing, great breading the cheese stretches perfectly and tastes the best I've had, the marinara sauce needs more spices, kinda tastes like it came from a can. The atmosphere is fun the place is clean and overall fun to be in. Now for the bad, I arrived around lunch time and it was a Sunday afternoon so it was slow, and the staff wasnt very good, asked a simple question about leaving our stroller somewhere until we were done eating and the hostess acted confused and a bit cranky for whatever reason, the server was terrible,took forever to get a single beer, his manners seemed forced you could tell he did not like us he didn't smile he barely said have a great day after we paid and we tipped still, he and the rest of the staff acted like they had better places to be, this was during their slow time mind you so it's not like they were slammed and super stressed out the rush hadnt even started yet so if I had never been to Lincoln Nebraska before and that was my introduction to this state I would think Nebraskans are rude people. Next point this place clearly is a place you go to drink beer and order bar food, stay away from the Cajun food, jambalaya ive had 3 times its not good it tastes like someone went to Walmart bought canned tomato sauce a cheap ham and some minute rice and threw it together in the microwave and put it on a plate. Overall if you order bar food it's really good, but otherwise it's nothing special the Cajun food is very mid and expect mid customer service.

Interesting Louisiana creole restaurant with a large patio. I had the Creole sampler that was excellent. Jambalaya, gumbo, blackened catfish and beignets. My dad had their chicken fried steak and didnt stop talking about it for 3 days. Great drink selection. Location was great for watching people walk around the Hay Market. Took a long time to seat us even though it wasn't overly busy. They were also training new staff so I gave them a bit of a break on that part of the review. Would still highly recommend.

I went to Buzzard Billy’s this morning for breakfast and overall, it was a good experience. However, there was a long strand of hair in my food which kind of grossed me out. I ate the other food and it was good, but definitely makes me wonder about the sanitary precautions 😬 Server was very friendly and service was kind of slow, but not bad for a Saturday brunch.
Came on a Thursday evening and we had really good service on the patio and everyone loved their food.

This place is the BOMB!!!! LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!! If you're in Lincoln, you have to visit this sports bar....I am trying the alligator meat next time!! They serve chicken, beef, and it's all so good....
