Interesting Louisiana creole restaurant with a large patio. I had the Creole sampler that was excellent. Jambalaya, gumbo, blackened catfish and beignets. My dad had their chicken fried steak and didnt stop talking about it for 3 days. Great drink selection. Location was great for watching people walk around the Hay Market. Took a long time to seat us even though it wasn't overly busy. They were also training new staff so I gave them a bit of a break on that part of the review....
Never disappointed here no matter what I order!
Wait staff is exceptional-
Tonight it was Kendall- so friendly and personable- but that’s always the experience!!

I went to Buzzard Billy’s this morning for breakfast and overall, it was a good experience. However, there was a long strand of hair in my food which kind of grossed me out. I ate the other food and it was good, but definitely makes me wonder about the sanitary precautions 😬 Server was very friendly and service was kind of slow, but not bad for a Saturday brunch.
