Canyon Joe’s Barbecue Reviews
My boyfriend and I stopped into Canyon Joe’s on Thursday, and I swear this is the best BBQ in the entire state of Nebraska. We both got the two‑meat platter with brisket and burnt ends, plus mac and cheese and cornbread casserole — every single thing was incredible. You can taste the quality and care in every bite.I also want to shout out Dawson, the young man working the counter. He was so kind, respectful, and genuinely great at customer service. First off, Canyon Joe’s is the best Texas BBQ place in Eastern Nebraska, full stop. There’s a lot of good barbecue places in East Nebraska…but there’s only one that’s great.

Canyon Joe's Barbecue is a must-try spot in Lincoln. Their menu features delicious options like the Big Tex, which includes pulled pork, brisket, and smoked sausage, as well as mouth-watering ribs and smoked Turkey. The three meat plate, including moist brisket, ribs, and a cheddar link, has been praised as the best BBQ in Lincoln. The restaurant offers generous portions, perfect for takeout or dining in. Their burnt ends, made from pork belly, are unique and come with a thick bark that adds to the flavor. The ribs fell off the bone and the brisket is flavorful. The beans are amazing, and the potato salad and corn bread were favorites. This is a gem in the heart of Lincoln, steeped in true Texas tradition.
