This is such a gem in the heart of Lincoln. Steeped in the true texas tradition, Canyon Joe's would be right at home in Austin TX or any other central Texas community. Luck for Lincoln it is not in Texas, it is right downtown. If you are a true fan of craft BBQ where details mater, you will not be disappointed. I always look forward to my trips to Lincoln and on of my favorite BBQ spots. Cheers!

Awsome place, they are very military friendly and even have a designated parking spot for veterans or active military. The food is amazing. Not only did we dine in, but we ended up taking some bbq to go. You need to get the burnt ends. They are amazing, and the beans are as well.

We visited Canyon Joe’s for the first time this weekend and our experience was fantastic! Our kids are already asking when we can go back! The employees were super friendly and helpful. We ordered the 3 meat plate (brisket and ribs) and a hot link and it was the perfect amount for our family! The Texas Gold barbecue sauce was great! We finished it off with desert—which hit the spot! We will definitely be back!

Hidden Gem in Lincoln! Food was amazing!! Ribs fell off the bone. Flavorful brisket. Sides were all great. Potato salad and corn bread and beans were favorites.

I moved back to Lincoln two years ago and FINALLY found a good barbecue place! Not only good, but rivalling some of the best I have ever had!

Me and a friend ordered the 3 meat plate. The cashier told us to sit down so we did. This is not fine dining, its fast casual, the bbq is all pre made so all it requires is putting it on a tray. I waited 20 minutes for them to serve up my food until finally i asked about it. Either they never put the order in or lost it. So the cashier asked for our orders again. When they delivered the food it was just two plates of what my friend ordered, my order was wrong. It took 40 minutes to get my food at a place that literally all they have to do serve it is take it from metal bin and put it on a tray. The bbq itself was fine, the pork belly was particularly good. But the customer service was terrible, they weren't apologetic they just acted confused and put upon to get my order correct. Lincoln has plenty of good bbq options, I'll go elsewhere
Had a 2 meat plate with brisket and pulled pork, beans and cornbread casserole for sides. Everything was fantastic, especially the beans. Sauces were all delicious too. The banana pudding was too artificial tasting for my liking but had all the required elements for a proper banana pudding.
Awesome vibes! Delicious every time! Stopped with my boy to grab a pick up order and he gave me a free sweet things by marcy cake! HAPPY FATHERS DAY!

From the genuine greeting when we walked in the door to the expertly smoked meats, Canyon Joe's is doing it right! Try it all! The brisket is thick sliced with the perfect pull on the fat cap, the ribs literally fall off the bone with a deep smokey flavor, the in house made sausage is nice and dense and full of flavor, the turkey is moist and juicy with a peppery bite but those pork belly burnt ends will steal the show every time! Absolutely hands down best we've ever had! Our favorite side was the potato salad but the beans came in a close second! Simple decor but complex BBQ'ing going on here!
