We travel from Denver to Mpls on a regular basis and our halfway stop is the Caribou in this Hy-Vee grocery store. This Caribou consistently makes great drinks and the service is usually quite efficient. But not today, between the training of a new barista and more than friendly attention to a couple of locals they completely forgot to make our drinks. We would still be standing there if we hadn’t asked about our drinks. They should have offered us two free drink cards. We’ll probably be back but very disappointed in our experience today.

The coffee is always good but they were training a new employee today and as a manager at another company I appreciate how well the trainer coached and jumped in when needed and jumped straight back into coaching it was a well structured cohesive partnership that was done very well. Wanted to send kudos to both baristas that were working today.

My stepson brought me a ho ho ho mint mocha frappe for my birthday. He requested extra minty and the batista made it happen. The drink is extremely tasty.

Solid lil' coffee shop inside HyVee. I got the latte + coffee cake combo for only $7, and both tasted delicious. I was surprised by how tasty the cinnamon coffee cake was as well. There is a little corner for dining in (or waiting for someone to finish their grocery shopping). ?

Today, I tried the lavender latte at my local Caribou, located in Hy Vee. I received an email that said I would get 50 extra perks points for trying the lavender drink, but when I got home I saw that no extra points had been awarded. The manager I spoke to at HyVee told me it's a Caribou problem and they can't do anything about it.I frequently receive email offers for call-ahead or online orders only, but the only Caribou in my town is in HyVee, and they don't accept call-ahead or online orders, so I miss a lot of promotions. This, however, was not an online-only promotion, and I went in and ordered. I am beginning to be tired of not receiving the perks points I should be getting.I really like Caribou best of all the local coffees, but I might have to take my business elsewhere.Not a happy customer.
Inside HyVe, Caribou coffee is a nice spot to grab a Drink. Coffee, tea, espresso, great drinks. Friendly staff.

My favorite place to get coffee. Using real chocolate instead of powder or syrup makes everything taste so much smoother. Highly recommend

The baristas working just now really came through on a DELICIOUS special order hot cocoa: dark chocolate salted caramel -- perfectly balanced flavors and so good! Great service and a great drink!
