My Husband and I went here for dinner on the night of our wedding with both sets of parents and his brother. We were congratulated but pretty neglected throughout the night. We got complimentary prosecco and water but we had to track down the waitress about 30 minutes in to order our own drinks. We repeatedly had long waits with no food and no communication as to when that food was coming. It probably took close to an hour to get our first appetizer as well. We were at the chefs table and watching the kitchen was amazing but my parents and father in law could not see anything and couldn’t turn around because of how packed the space was there. All of the food was amazing. I had seen many pictures of celebratory deserts with beautiful cursive and sparklers but our dessert seemed to just have scribbles and we did not get a sparkler. It was a disappointing experience, especially for the cost, but again the food was some of the best I have ever had so hats off to the chef.

It's my birthday. Food was excellent. Service was fantastic. Is this the best restaurant in Nebraska? It's right up there, if it isn't. The pasta made in front of you was a unique experience and tasted great.

Outstanding. Authentic level of 3 Michelin star restaurant if they decide to add Nebraska. Best steak I have ever had. Amen

This was not a dinner, it was an experience. My friends and I had a ladies night birthday dinner at Casa Bovina. Upon entering, we were warmly welcomed by Kylie. She seated us immediately at the Chef’s table. We ordered the tasting menu with the wine pairing. Our waitress Taylor was knowledgeable of each dish and worked seamlessly with Kylie , who walked us through our wine pairings. We felt very welcomed by our team, whom made us feel at home. The food was remarkable, with each dish building on the one prior. We absolutely loved Melanie and the pasta presentation. (Add the truffles). Chef Zach and his culinary crew created pure magic. If you have not dined at Casa Bovina, add it to your must try list.

Double Date Night

About a month ago my husband decided we needed an indulgent meal from Uber Fancy Pants destination Casa Bovina. The Big Baby Childrens joined us. The Fine Dining experts they are, it was a return visit. For the 2 of us it was a first in the House of Cow.

Although I thought I'd properly done my homework in studying the ever changing menu, it was yet another updated version at our table. Our server said they are likely still able to make items from recent menus but we all stayed with the current one. The childrens ordered Specialty cocktails and my husband a glass of Cabernet.

We started with like half of the appetizers and passed around the table. The Burrata and Focaccia which was delivered later on, the bread was nice but the other didn't have much flavor. The salad was yummy. They all Loved the Coiettas made from Filet Mignon, also strangely the only beef ordered. The big surprise was the Casserole, similar to the Thanksgiving staple, but on steroids... huge hit!

Onto the entrees. The Boy Child decided on the spectacle that is Tajarin Della Forma. Pasta rolled in a giant flaming cheese wheel done tableside. He thought it was one of the best dishes he'd ever had! It was sooooo rich but I'm glad I got to try it. The Girl Child went with the Gnocchi covered in seafood. This is totally her jam, it was excellent as well. My husband was drooling over his Duck entree. Served with Polenta and Cherries, etc., he said it was the best he'd ever had! I chose the Black Cod. The fish was like Buh.Ter. it literally melted in my mouth and the sauce was heavenly.

Desserts to share. The Chocolate Mi Cuit with raspberry accompaniments. The childrens especially enjoyed this one. The Creme Brulee, which I'm not normally a fan of, was ridiculous. I had multiple bites before passing it along. Plus a couple more after dinner drinks. The Boy loved his Sweet Cherry Rye and Stone 75 but the Girl Child and I didn't really care for ours.

Our server Emma-Frances was new but very knowledgeable and attentive. I think the staff got a kick out of watching us picking apart and sampling every component. Menus for our meal are in the photos. I understand now how this place has earned its reputation. You are paying for an Experience. Definitely The place for a special occasion!

I’m more impressed each time we come here. I just love it. We have done the tasting menu and ordered a la carte, both are great but the tasting menu is next level, especially this November menu. The ATTENTION to detail is immaculate. ALL of our questions about sourcing, preparation and ingredients were answered without hesitation from staff. The open kitchen is gorgeous so fun to watch. Having this caliber of restaurant so close to home is a dream come true.

I am a member of Harvest Hosts, and we stayed there last night. It was very quiet and there was a beautiful sunset.
Besides the reservations only expensive restaurant (we didn’t go there), there is a butcher shop with many choices of beef, pork and chicken and other miscellaneous foods (we did go there and purchased meats).

My husband brought me here for my birthday and we had a fantastic dining experience. The ambience was perfect, the food immaculate, and the service outstanding. We got the gemelli pasta and NY steak and both were so delicious. We can't wait to return and try their tasting menu in a different season. 🥩

Appetizers were great but I didn’t like the steak . It was too smoky and chewy.

This was the most incredible dinner that either one of us had ever had. Fair warning, it is also the most expensive we have ever had. But you do really get what you pay for. The entire experience is well curated. We did the tasting menu. Not only did we get what was on the menu, but they also had amuse-bouche dishes which were extra and just delivered as additional gifts of things to try. Every person who stopped by our table told us happy anniversary. I dropped my napkin at one point, a woman appeared almost immediately with a new one. After our meal, they even took us on a small private tour of their private dining area and wine cellar. We will absolutely be back.
