Woah! First time here! Really good! If you are going to a movie at Southpointe, show your stub and great free fries! I got a grilled chicken burger. Haven't tried wagyu beef burger here yet, but if it is anything like what I just had, I am sure it will be very good! Chicken burger was solid! Fries were great! Got three sauces, jalapeño aioli, ranch, and garlic aioli. Sauces were bursting with flavor! Chicken burger was very gourmet! Highly recommend!!!!

My experience at Charred was incredibly disappointing. I ordered a burger and when it arrived, it was completely raw, basically just a ground beef patty that hadn’t been cooked through.
The restaurant wasn’t even busy, yet service was terribly slow. We didn’t get a single water refill, and our waitress never once came by to check on us after dropping off our food. Because of that, I couldn’t even let anyone know about the raw burger.
To top it off, we waited over 20 minutes just to get the check and only got it after flagging the waitress down ourselves. At that point, we were just ready to leave.
Definitely won’t be returning. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Great experiences every time we go. This visit was no exception. We started our evening at Ollie and Hobbs where we were promptly ignored for 15 minutes. We wanted to try something new but boy was that a mistake. After 15 minutes of being walked past, we decided to walk over to Charred where we were immediately sat. We were greeted by our server with a minute of sitting down, we got our drinks and appetizer ordered. Our drinks came in less than a minute and our appetizer took about 7. We were greeted my another server and a manager during our dinner. Our food was delicious, the cheesy fried pickles are always a hit! Overall just incredibly friendly and attentive staff and delicious food. We will never make the mistake of going next door again!
If I can leave less than 1 stars I would, I asked for no bacon on my burger and they brought one out, usually I don’t find any issue with that we all make mistakes so I nicely asked them to fix it they took it to the back and removed “most” of the bacon from the burger and told me they made a whole new top piece for the burger and I wouldn’t have found out until I found a piece of bacon in my burger as I’m chewing and swallowing it.

Service was very good and consistent throughout the time we sat down for lunch. Limited menu but still a variety to choose from -
Food portions were small for what you are charged - you pay extra for onion rings ($4) that is the norm but that equates to $1 per onion ring placed in a small bowl that included four onion rings with a burger smaller than the bun it was on.
DON’T BRING IN A COUPON!! Absolutely Horrible experience. We received a BOGO coupon (like normal) and went in today for my wife’s birthday. When we sat down and indicated we will using a coupon. The wait staff said “all the managers say they have no idea who sent that coupon and they are not honoring it. I was just screamed at from my previous customer.” No manager came and spoke with us, no explanation was given, and we then decided to leave without ordering. We like CHARRED but will not be back any time soon . BEWARE of coupons!! (The offer is expired in the picture because we had to open it all the way and still the wait staff refused and they refused the coupon entirely)

Delicious burgers, usually on the rare side so watch out if you prefer well done. I definitely prefer rare beef, so I thought it was great. Burgers are fairly priced for their size, especially since they use wagyu beef. Honey Sriracha Aioli goes great with fries and on the burgers. Definitely worth a shot to go here if you're looking for a good burger.
P.S. Our gift card wasn't accepted here even though we've used it at the same restaurant before, but I didn't mind that much, their food is worth paying for.
