First time I tried cocky’s it was sooo good. But this time, the ‘Texas toast’ with my sandwich was not toasted.. and it seems to be just regular bread. On top of that, the side order of Mac n cheese we ordered wasn’t in the bag but we got charged for it.. Went back to get the Mac n cheese but no one is helping… never coming here again

We came from out of state and happened to check out this chicken dive and honestly it was phenomenally good for fast food the elote " Mexican corn " was amazing and the chicken ? I was obsessed and sad they didn't have more chains . They did forget my cheddar biskits but I forgive them it's a typical teenage kid at the window who probably totally forgot I don't think it's a constant problem like some places just based off the quality. Do it ! Lol

It's just a diner that seems to specialize in fried foods, but it's very good at what it does. The food only took a few minutes from order to table. The service was outstanding -- I think the two people on the wait staff are the owners. Our group of four was there for the first time, and we all agreed that we want to go there again sometime.

I have been here before and the food was pretty good…but what inspired me to come and write this review was the CATFISH. It’s amazing! From the crispy batter to the tender catfish and the perfect flavoring of spices…it’s so good! Go try it! Best in town!!!? ?

Their chicken sandwich is delicious-and big! The sauce on it is some of the best I've ever had. It has a bit of buffalo and a bit of cajun. Pleasant, easy going atmosphere also. The staff are super nice.

I know prices are up. And, so I’m not complaining about spending over 15.00 for 2 pieces of chicken. But, when this place first opened quality was top notch. Every time I go back now, it’s gotten worse and worse. Chicken I got today was literally almost impossible to eat. Skin was like leather, and the meat was very dry and bland. I had to throw half of it out. Maybe I’ll try something different on the menu next time.

Pulled up on 3 different occasions, ordered a family meal worth over 30$ and tried to get 2 orders of Mexican corn with my meal. Each time, no matter what time I pulled up, they lied to me and said “we do not have enough to give you 2 orders of Mexican corn, can I get you something else.”Mind you, if you order 1 order of a six piece Mexican corn, it’s over ten dollars. They’ll gladly serve you then.. We should be able to pull in a drive Thru and order 2 orders of anything if we wanted and that’s why I’m so frustrated with this place. Hustle you for good food service…They’ll look you in the eyes, kindly lie to you and take your money. Won’t be eating there again..

I'm giving this place 5 stars because it had the best catfish I've had in Lincoln so far. The Irish whiskey was a nice touch too. The white beans were yummy and the coleslaw was better than average. I walked in expecting a drive in with chicken, and walked out happier than I've been with the catfish dinner I wasn't expecting. Under 20 dollars for that and a double shot of Jameson. Spectacular!

This was are first time back in a few months, previously food was outstanding and worth the drive across town. This time we encountered disinterested staff and food that was average at best. Chicken tenders were definitely smaller than our last visit a few months ago. We loved this place when it first opened but sadly it seems to have fallen in quality since then.
At first, this place was amazing! Price points, food was delicious, and speed of service was awesome. Unfortunately, the last three times we've eaten there, it hasn't been great. First, the prices skyrocketed. (2) 3-piece chicken finger meals cost nearly $24 dollars now. Not only did prices go up substantially, but now you don't get biscuits with the meal and now the drink is as big as a kids meal cup. Understandably so, the way the world is at this point in time, prices are going up. I get it. But, to increase price and reduce quantity and quality is a bad recipe for business.

Not horrible but will not be back. The chicken tenders were dry. I ordered the cheddar biscuits with the meal. They didn’t have any. They substituted dry Texas toast (no butter). The fries were good. The Cocky’s sauce was great. The slaw was bland tasting. On another note, there was no soap on the restroom.

This place was great and reasonably priced for the amount you get. I got the spicy chicken sandwich with cucumber salad and the Mexican corncob. It was delicious!!! We also got the catfish with potato salad and Mac and cheese which was also very good!! The catfish melts in your mouth! I love their signature Cockys sauce it's so yummy. Definitely give this place a try, you won't be disappointed. Kylie took our order. She was so patient, very knowledgeable of the menu and so friendly. Give this girl a raise!!! We will be back. Thanks for the great food and service! You all rock!

After my first visit months ago, I would have given Cocky's a 3/5, however, since giving them a second chance they have turned that around completely and made me a returning customer! The chicken is seasoned well, comes in very large portions, and has a great variety of sides, not to mention booze if you're craving a drink with your meal. Give them a try!
