Best Sandwich in Lincoln! Dannys slices the meats for the sandwich right in front of you, has fresh baked bread thats delicious and uses high quality ingredients only. My girlfriend and I go here at least once a week we love the shop and the staff is very friendly. absolutely one of the best lunch spots in Lincoln

Just finished an 8” “Y” street, though modified a bit with 1000 island and sweet pickles added at the recommendation of Colton the sandwich maker. There is a sign out front that says “best sandwich shop in Nebraska”... it lived up to the claim! Fantastic sandwich, flavor, texture, layered and grilled perfectly. I will be back!

Always wondered what this place was so I stopped by, the place was so dirty inside I understand having antiques and making the place feel vintage but there was dust on everything and with today’s date I don’t want that around my food, perhaps it was me but I couldn’t eat my sandwich knowing this, trays looked like they had never been washed before just wiped down , we’re stained was just unappetizing sorry, on top of that I noticed the employees did not use new gloves they just took them off and would put them back on using the same dirty gloves, pretty sure that’s not how that works

I don't really ever review restaurants but my girlfriend and I had lunch here today and we loved every bit of this place. I'm originally from New Jersey, and I've been dying for a solid sub/hoagie shop since I started college. Always was interested in stopping here, but never got around to it. I wish I had gone in 3 years ago. Place has an awesome feel to it, owner is super friendly, decor makes you feel like you're in the guys house, and I love that. Menu is huge and has all the classics. Bread was delicious, think he makes it in house. Meat and cheese was also spot on. Prices were very fair on the sandwiches, even better on chips and drinks.If you're around and the place is open, stop in. I have to take all my friends now so they can taste what I grew up eating.

Ordered a sandwich and apparently I got charged extra because supplies went up would have been nice to know that prior and would have skipped on paying almost 18 dollars for such a poorly made meal. The fresh toppings tasted like they haven’t been switched in months

Seems like the meats are always changing, I mentioned how my sandwich tasted different then usual, I get told a new supplier is due to blame for new corned beef, I should have just gotten a refund

AMAZING!! Great sandwich.I had the Reuben. Owner ran out of markers to put my name on the wall, but he better get one soon. Just sent two more people his way. Thoroughly enjoyable time here. If I were going to be here longer, I would eat there each day.
