Dickey's Barbecue Pit

It's closed and the new Mulberries is worst than Dickey's. Go to Texas Roadhouse next door.

I see this restaurant is now closed. Not surprised, had a really rough experience when I took my daughter there. Unfortunately the two people working were really not good at their job and not a good role. Management obviously was not watching what was going on so I'm not surprised they closed. I have had other good dining experiences at other Dickies. Also highly recommend hog wild BBQ on the north side of town.

This place appears to be tits up. Can't say as I'm surprised as my last visit was horrible.

Really disappointing experience. We ordered three brisket meals to go, did not receive all of the sides. Most of the sides weren't even available at 7pm. The brisket was dry and had more fat than meat. I tried calling the store, but no one answers. Not a great representation of the new management.

Ordered delivery mid afternoon. All meats were 75 to 80 degrees by food thermometer...well below safe serving levels. Ditto untoasted "toast." Sides were all at safe temp, so not because of delivery. Unable to reach local store. Reported to local health department. Be aware of significant food safety risks.

I had my friend bring me some dinner while I was stuck at work and bbq sounded delish. I have never been more disappointed. Apparently there was one person working and the food was horrible. I give the brisket 2 stars because that was about the only thing that was pretty good. First of all…shouldn’t all bbq joints serve cornbread of some sort? I mean, I think they go together but I rarely find one that has cornbread. Some have Texas toast. Another had cornbread salad type stuff ( that wasn’t bad) but this place had the worst cornbread muffins I’ve ever tasted. We spend a lot of money in places like this. One would think it would at least be delicious. Definitely not a fan.

We usually love Dickey’s and the food is always top tier. Not this time though. We walked in and were not greeted, and had to wait 10 minutes to just order. Customer service was very poor. Once we got the food I had 5 onion rings that were cold and my husband got fries that were also cold. My brisket sandwich was half fat. I had to open it up and go piece by piece picking out all of the fat in the meet which left like a quarter of the actual meat left for me to eat. There was no ice cream machine out as well. I paid almost $15 for 5 onion rings and fatty meat. We are really hopeful that this place will turn around!

Believe the recent one and two star ratings on this place. Ordered online with dickeys own website. When I arrived to pick up my order they were out of brisket and pulled pork. They did not apologize nor make any attempt to compensate. I then waited another 20 minutes for my order. There appeared to be only one person working there at 115p on a Sunday, who I felt bad for. This is clearly a management problem. Just go to Parker’s or one of the other better options in Lincoln, even if it means a little Extra driving. The prices aren’t even that different. I felt really bad for the door dash drivers who were also trying to coordinate substitutions with the people they were picking up for.

Super depressing to be in the building. I used to go all the time but recently just a few times a year. Very evident it's being abandoned. Only one employee in today when I tried to get dinner. After waiting in drive thru for 5 minutes. I went into store. One group of 2 people on line. Waited 10 minutes and they still hadn't been served their meals. Very disappointing. I walked out with no food.

Food is great even though I've never tried it. I went in to pick up a Doordash order, they turned off the lights when they saw me approach. Some kid who wasn't even in uniform came to the door, opened it, and said "yeah, we're closed". They close at 9, I went in at 8:45. Fortunately my client was very understanding and was able to cancel the order, but please reconsider going here.

Went it in after waiting for curbside after 10 minutes. To the employees sitting down talking. My food was really cold had to ask for my cup. And only half of my order was there but I was charged full price.
