I would consider myself a harsh critic and a little hard to please when it comes to high end dining. With that being said, this is the best restaurant in Lincoln if you’re wanting a high end dining experience. Our waitress was super helpful at making recommendations and was super attentive. The food all tasted fresh and I appreciated how much detail went into every dish. This is a great spot for special occasions.

Food was just okay. Service was terrible. At a place like this you expect exemplary service and professionalism which you will not get here. Server was downright rude and only showed up at our table when absolutely necessary. A disappointing experience all around.

Delicious food. Unique menu. Portions were huge. Beets in particular were a favorite. Fine dining food but casual atmosphere. We had a 15 month old and they provided a high chair. Appetizers , entrees and desserts were all fantastic. Only complaint was that the old fashioned mocktail was $10 and served in the same portion size of a regular old fashioned with only half glass full. Delicious and flavorful drink but $$

Went there on 1/30 and had an amazing date night. The burrata app was incredible and then we had the salmon and waygu shortrib and split them. DISH is an experience unlike any other in Lincoln in my opinion due to the quality of food - both mains and sides. Everything is next level!

My boyfriend and I went for NYE. The staff was friendly and accomodating. We spent about $400 for the prefixe menu and the food was average at best. Felt like a scam and that most of these reviews are misleading.

I took my friend her last night after a show. She'd never been at this place. Food was wonderful as always, and such a lovely atmosphere. I would recommend using their website to make a reservation. I was truly lucky to snag a 8:30 table on demand! Others came in, and there was no space available.

We went tonight for our wedding anniversary, Ebben was our server and was so so so good! Daisy was training I believe and also did a great job! The whole experience was warm and intimate. The food presentation is lovely and tastes incredible, with interesting and unique options/pairings. The whole vibe is upscale but not intimidating; cozy and casual but still a perfect spot for celebration! The menu changes periodically and clearly takes care to source locally. It was a very inspired experience, from food to ambiance to service. Really don't want to understate what a professional Ebben is. They are crushing it and I felt totally taken care of. Period!

The entree choices are not like any I’ve experienced in any other restaurant. Our wait staff (Evan and Daisy) could not have been more helpful or attentive. If you are looking for a relaxing, excellent dining experience, I would highly recommend The Dish. You will not be disappointed!
Dish is a standout in Lincoln for anyone who appreciates locally sourced, flavorful meals. We started with the garlic oyster mushrooms, which were absolutely incredible—so rich and savory. The sesame glazed pork belly was another perfect starter, tender and packed with flavor.
The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and our server, Evan, made the evening even more enjoyable with his fun, bantering style that helped us pick just the right dishes.
And the grand finale? The butterscotch pudding with caramel sauce—don’t skip it, even if you’re not celebrating a special occasion. It’s the kind of dessert that makes a night memorable.

The service was fantastic. All of the staff was very conscious of a food allergy at the table. The staff had written on the menu to show which dishes were allergen safe/modifiable. I have never seen a resturant take that much care. Food had a lot of flavor and was well balanced. Worth the price that is charged.
