I always have an amazing time at DISH! The food was spectacular. I got the fried chicken and the feta gnocchi. The sweet potato biscuit that came on the side was insanely delicious! The service was amazing as well!

Some really fun and creative things in the menu! Cocktails and wine were great! We had the special Manhattan off of the menu and a gin and tonic. my husband and I both had a glass of the Italian red blend, which was very smooth and versatile. Would definitely order again. The salmon rillette small plate was really yummy. I could've done without the jam, but it could be easily scraped off. I had the butternut squash risotto with Farro and kale. It was very good. It was a bit heavier than I had expected, but lots of protein and grains. My husband had the salmon, which he really liked. Service was a bit slow on a Tuesday night, as there was a show at the Lied that night. But our server was fabulous! Looking forward to returning for the spring/summer menu! my husband and I both had a glass of the Italian red blend, which was very smooth and versatile. Would definitely order again.

This was my first time in Nebraska and my first visit to the restaurant. I was greeted by two hostesses who were absolutely warm and quick to get me seated. The hostess who took me to my seat was knowledgeable about the menu and helped me make my selection. She suggested the Parker House Rolls as a start. I appreciated the chat we had about the menu especially when dining somewhere new. Let's talk food... the Parker House rolls with hot honey butter? DEEEEELECIOUS. Pillowy, buttery, sweet-and-savory perfection. I could have made a meal out of those alone. But then came the butternut squash and kale farro risotto with oyster mushrooms, caramelized onions, and pecans—an autumnal (but springy too... it was April) dream with a perfect balance of texture and flavor. Earthy, nutty, rich, and comforting. Paired with a crisp glass of white wine, the entire meal was an unexpected highlight of my trip. Now for the service: while my main server was kind and friendly, she seemed a bit... distracted. After my meal arrived, she floated around the room in conversation with other guests and staff, leaving me feeling somewhat forgotten. It may have been a busy shift or just a case of too much social buzz, but a little more attentiveness would have elevated the experience to truly exceptional. Still, the food was phenomenal, the vibe welcoming, and I would absolutely return on another trip. Sometimes a great meal makes up for a few service hiccups, and this one definitely did.

I loved everything I ordered off of this menu. I'm really impressed by this restaurant. The quality of food matched the price point and everything was absolutely delicious!! Will be coming back.

Another fantastic dinner at Dish! Chef's art of transforming vegetables into such deliciousnesses is so magical that we were fighting over the last bites. Excellent attention to dietary needs/restrictions.

We celebrated a very special birthday for one of our dearest friends and the staff was so very helpful in making this a memorable evening.

Everything last evening was tip-top. Hands down the best and most creative restaurant in Lincoln, NE. The dishes are always beautifully presented and as flavorsome as you'd hope for. Love DISH!

Everything was nearly perfect. Great service. We loved the salmon with succotash. The tempura green beans were also delicious. The duck appetizer on corn was ok (I forget what those things are called). The PB+J+Booze drink was awesome and so was the drink my husband had but I can't remember what it was. The chocolate coconut ice cream was tasty, but had a weird texture. A lovely evening out!

Three of us went to celebrate my birthday. Our server, Evan, was outstanding and the food was amazing! Two of us eat a plant based diet and the third is an omnivore. We had a beet appetizer, two corn and tomato risotto entrees, and a sirloin steak with green beans and potatoes. We all devoured everything! Top notch from top to bottom!

We always have to have the beet salad and fried chicken. We choose a different appetizer every time we eat here and they are always delicious. Last night we had the sweet corn/duck croquettes. Delectable! Always leave so happy!

This was seriously one of the most delicious meals I've had in a very long time. Each dish was more creative and exquisite than the last. Was absolutely floored to find a gem like this in Lincoln Nebraska. I'd make the trip back to Lincoln just for this restaurant!

DISH is the best restaurant in Lincoln. It was a great way to celebrate my birthday! Our server (I don't remember their name? I bet they are your most tall and awesome server?) helped us pick a great bottle of wine and selections of small plates. Thanks for serving wonderful food at a fabulous place in Lincoln, NE! (my favorite may have been the corn ice cream. Yum)

The food is superb. I started with the duck fat potatoes with chorizo, seasoned with a sprinkling of summer fresh corn - it was crispy and salty with the sweetness of the corn for contrast. I also had the beets (as consolation because the tempura green beans were sold out for the night). The beets were complemented by fresh peaches and cherries and sprinkling of chèvre cheese. It wasn’t green bean tempura but it was a delight.

My main was the steak, cooked to my preference with grilled green beans (I’ll be trying this on my bbq at home) and crisp potatoes.

Now dessert was where it got *really* interesting. They have some nice desserts on offer but the ice creams got my attention. Three creative ice cream combos, all made in-house. Things like corn and Carmel or beets and coconut. I was intrigued and closed with the beets and coconut ice cream. Mind blown. Who would have thought beets and coconut would make for fantastic ice cream.

Good service. Chill vibe.

I loved Dish. Was a nice surprise in Lincoln after a long week of work.
