Hidden gem! Friends from NE told us about this place years ago. We stop every time we are in NE and even drive out of our way to make a stop. Good portions. Since we are not locals we order and eat at the picnic tables on site. Most would consider this just a drive-through location. We try something new each time BUT always order the Cinnamon Chips. They are so good. Neighborhood isn't the greatest, but provides for good people watching.

The smothered Burrito gave me very bad food poisoning, and I am currently in a lot of pain. I have been throwing up constantly
When you get off work (or for others leave the bars) after 2 a.m. in Lincoln, NE - it's D'Leon's vs. the golden arches... and D'Leon's wins every time.
If your go to is a burrito and, unless you enjoy it sloppy, get "very little" sauce/sour screen or ask for it on the side - especially if you're eating and driving or your fine motor skills aren't 100%. Alternatively, where a bib and get plenty of napkins.
Once 5 a.m. hits and breakfast begins being served as well as other food establishments opening up for business - D'Leon's loses its advantage. This is NOT when you go to D'Leon's.
The food is fine, fairly authentic, and totally #$&@ing awesome when you have no other option. This IS when you go to D'Leon's.
