Down the Hatch was recommended by the hotel we were staying at. We should have read the reviews first. Food was terrible. We couldn’t say anything because our waiter didn’t stay long enough for us to respond. Jaiden was his name. Terrible waiter. Terrible!!!! I stopped at the bar asking where I should pay. My first time at the establishment. Jaiden yelled at me saying “ do I have to come to your table every five minutes.” We asked another waitress for the water. When leaving she thought it was okay in the manner in which we were spoken to. Think twice before going to Down the Hatch. Jaiden quickly ran to the table to grab our bills …..I’m sure to only collect his tip. Bad bad service at this establishment. When trying to speak with the manager regarding this situation he said my comment was inaccurate and baseless. No apology for his staffs poor customer service. Now I understand the behaviors of his staffs poor service. You represent Nebraska in a very poor way!!!!

We hosted a birthday party for a friend and had a wonderful time. Brooklyn was our server and she was amazing! Very friendly and attentive to our party guests. We had about 30 people there and all over them were very happy and impressed with Down the Hatch! Thank you all so much for helping us make the party special for our friend!!

Down The Hatch has everything you’d want in a neighborhood bar and grill. The food is tasty, the drinks are cold, and the atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. The staff is attentive and friendly, ensuring a great experience every time. It’s a perfect spot to unwind, and the location makes it easily accessible for locals and visitors alike.
Great food and decent place. Only complaint is the sound. With hard floors and lots of windows, it gets extremely loud and difficult to have conversations. Wish they would install sound absorbing panels to limit the amount of sound bouncing around.
