Menu was super dirty, looks like they haven’t ever been cleaned and it was every menu at least the 5 that were brought to our table. Food was alright and service was okay as well, nothing special. Would not wait for a spot here.

Service is great and plenty of parking!
But I would not return for the food:
Way too spicy, despite there was no description on the menu of pepper and/or hot sauce on my plate. Even the hash browns were loaded on pepper and undercooked. Biscuits were tasteless and coffee it not truly espresso, comes from lavazza machines.
They also charge extra for credit card use despite there is no note on the menu or around the restaurant that they do that. Also watch your bill; server gave to me with 30% tip already selected

I’d like to say the food is good but bad management. I have never experienced being in a setting enjoying my meal where management is yelling at an employee. That’s not what I want to see when I’m in the middle of enjoying my morning meal. She definitely shouldn’t be working at an establishment where she works around people, if she doesn’t know how to act around customers or those poor employees.

Our first Early Bird experience was at the Omaha location. We stopped in around 1 pm on Thursday and I have to say, it met all expectations. The food was brought out quickly and it was just as delicious. We will be back.

We were huge fans of The Early Bird in Omaha, so we were really excited when it opened in Lincoln. Unfortunately, after several visits, we’ve decided we’re probably done trying.
The food is still great—creative, fresh, and fast—but the experience overall just isn’t enjoyable. It’s always super busy and really loud, which we can understand, but the service has consistently been a letdown.
Even when we join the waitlist well in advance (usually during church to time it right), we end up waiting a long time just to get a drink order in. Today we barely saw our server at all, and while someone else kindly brought out our food, we were left sitting with empty plates and our card out for quite a while before the waiter acknowledged us.
It’s frustrating to put in the effort to get a table and then feel like an afterthought once you’re seated. As much as we’ve wanted this to be our go-to brunch spot, the service just keeps missing the mark. This is so disappointing, especially because the food really is solid.

We made a first-time visit this past Saturday at the Early Bird at 11:00 a.m. We were meeting some friends and we had a party of 8 and we arrived a bit early so we found a spot in a pretty crowded parking lot so my husband went inside to see how long the wait was for a table and if he could make a reservation. He came back to our car and said they would have no problem seating us right away when all of our party arrived. I was surprised by how much seating there was. We placed our orders and our waitress forgot to bring me some water. When everyone else had their drinks I made a comment and she brought me some right away and was apologetic. I ordered the spinach salad with strawberries, glazed pecans and chicken. I was seated next to my friend and she ordered chilaquiles and she liked it and said it had a kick but was satisfied. We all received our orders in a timely manner and the staff seemed to be attentive and it was clean. Overall a good experience.

The Early Bird gets your money! I had this spot on my list to try for a while. Finally did today and I won’t be back. The food is mediocre at best. My mocha came from a machine like the gas station has. And the bill was EXPENSIVE- this is the most expensive
breakfast for it to be mediocre.
On a good note. It was clean and the decore is cute.

Really good food but way over priced. My daughter and I splint a breakfast burrito and each had a drink and it was $46 plus tip. The place itself was adorable and staff was great.

prefacing by saying this restaurant is not celiac friendly. totally fine, i just have an intolerance. im used to picking around the bread on my plate, but our server Allie noticed right away that my eggs came out of the kitchen mistakenly on top of an english muffin. thanks to her attention, i didnt even have to ask - she immediately took it to be remade. i was very impressed by her service on a busy Sunday morning! thank you so much Allie!

Huge portions. You’ll have a couple breakfasts worth of leftovers here. We’ve eaten at both the Omaha and Lincoln locations and have yet to have a bad meal.

Smooth and simple – just how I like it. Everything was taken care of.
Excellent breackfast/brunch spot. Had the crab rangoon omelette and am hooked. Good portions sizes too, so I'd say it's a great value for what you spend. Will definitely be coming back.
