Service is ok, not great. Food has something to be desired. Hash browns are burnt on the top and bottom, still frozen in the middle. I had the crab cake Benny and it tasted like the crab went bad, both sauces were starting to break, and the buscit (not an english muffin) was both soggy and stale. Rest of the family had chicken straps and tots. Tots literally taste like a crunchy funnle cake. Chicken straps have a nice light breading, but very sweet. Cook on the chicken was OK. Very over priced for what you get. We will not be back and will gladly spend $100 on almost anywhere else.
Also parking sucks.

5 Stars – Highly Recommended!
This was our first time dining at Early Bird Breakfast in Lincoln, and we loved it! Our server, Brooklyn, was amazing—attentive to every need and even added a fun touch by making a smiley face on my husband’s waffle. The service was excellent, and the environment was friendly and clean with a great staff all around. We highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a wonderful breakfast experience! Food was delicious!???
Thank you

The food was ok.
I had an omelette, came with a side of a spicy sauce. The sauce has zero flavor. The strawberry jelly for the toast was way too sweet. It hurt my teeth it was Soo sweet.

My wife got the avocado toast. It had way too much feta cheese. But she really liked the bacon jam that was on the meal.

Then there's the cost, it all was way too pricey. $17 for an omelet and $16.25 for avocado toast. $3 for a small orange juice. $39 total and a $10 tip. $49 for breakfast? What the hell. I would like to go back, but I will not.

My boyfriend and I went to eat breakfast last weekend. We were seated pretty quickly however they seated us in their extended/outdoor area where the windows were all shut, it felt humid and smelled that way too. The menus were absolutely filthy, I did not want to touch it as my menu was full of drink stains, food stains and who knows what else. I understand that every menu can't be super clean but I feel that every menu should at least be wiped down after every use. We ordered an appetizer and food. Our food got to us before the appetizer did and it seemed that our server had forgotten about it until we asked. She kept repeatedly apologizing however we were both irritated by this time. Because I was irritated and my appetite was gone, I ordered some PB&J pancakes as I didn't want to spend much money considering how I was feeling. They were drenched in some jelly sauce that was not good, probably would be better off using regular jelly. My boyfriend had ordered a Coke and they brought out a can of Coke and a glass with ice. Can you at least pour it so it doesn't feel like he overpaid for a can of Coke that can be bought for less than a dollar at a vending machine? Our server never offered to refill our drinks either. Overall, I feel that the whole experience turned me away from coming back. It's seriously overpriced and I don't mind when the food and service is good but the price was definitely not worth it.

We came in for a late breakfast
First off if you have a vehicle larger than a small sedan the parking lot is horribly congested and crammed
the atmosphere inside is plain and depressing it has more of a depressed millennial vibe the chairs are a cheap plastic including the legs and really flimsy and felt like they might give way and the tables are cheaply made and seem second hand from a 50s diner
The food is overpriced especially for breakfast diner food in the local area and NO REFILLS on drinks. Absolutely ridiculous seems like they’re trying more to be trendy with overpriced barista coffee and mimosas.

Service wasn’t the best and our water stayed empty most of the meal
Our appetizer was burned and dry but our main entrees were good even though they are over priced
Honestly I don’t think we’ll come back or recommend it to anyone

Parking: The lot is crammed tight very difficult to park anything larger than a small sedan

I wanted to like this place more than I did. Service at the bar was great, all the menu items sounded so delicious. Started with a “good morning, Nebraska” which was good. Hash holes appetizer were pretty good and filling. Tater tot poutine was somehow disappointing perhaps due to it arriving lukewarm. I really wanted to like this place more than I did. Overall there are better breakfast places where you can leave spending much less and taste better

Definitely not it as far as breakfast goes. There are cheaper places with larger portions that are just as tasty and far more local, such as Woody's or The Engine House. My sandwich and side alone, without a drink, was $15 before tax, and that was only a singular side at that, no toast or nothing. This seemed to be the average price for most of their other stuff as well. The sandwich was pretty good at least. Some actual seasoning on the steak would have improved it but the Hollendaise was yummy. The hashbrown "cube" just made them feel undercooked though. Would have preferred a nice crispy layer. I guess if you live downtown and make some money this isn't a bad place? But "meh" with their pricing when other good places are around.

I wanted to try everything on the menu. It was hard to choose. The service was excellent and our water was filled without having to ask. The food was delicious. I plan on going back soon.

Early Bird was a busy place and with good reason! There are lots of menu options and the portions are large. Service is friendly but be prepared to wait a little. It’s a popular place!

All the food is exceptionally good except for the hash browns. They are extremely bland.
