When we got there some young lady had an attitude like it was an inconvenience we was there. Then I ordered my hamburger well done it was charcoal on the outside but pink on the inside. To me the portions was smaller from the last time we went there. It's an hour and half drive to get there. I would have paid more for bigger portions. The waitress we had did a good job. That's why we left her a good tip.
Food was terrible, brisket was tough couldn't cut it. Burnt ends were fatty. Ribs tough couldn't event get them off the bone. Worst food we have ever had. Waitress was terrible no refills on water. Never came back to see if everything was good. Bad attitude. Manager was just as bad. Bad attitute. They need to be trained in customer service.
Used to love coming here as the food was always great. Not so much anymore.Smaller portions for more money and the quality of the meats has gone downhill drastically.Rib tips and brisket look and taste like it was pre-made meats that you just heat up and serve and not smoked there. Definitely low quality barbecue for alot of money.Wont be going back again.

This was my husband and I's second time trying Famous Dave's. Unfortunately the second time wasn't much better than the first. We arrived Friday evening about 5:45pm no wait and that was the highlight. The waiter 1. didn't introduce himself. 2. walked by said he'd be right back and about 10 minutes later came over to take our order. We hadn't even ordered drinks. We ordered drinks and fried Pickles (Never again, can't say for sure if it was noted on the menu, but I've never had fried sweet pickles and I would not have ordered them if I had known they weren't dill) I ordered the 3 meat combo with Brisket (Really good), rib tips (Looked like they took a rib and cut it up 70% fat and 30% meat) BBQ'd Chicken (a bit dry, but flavorful) for my sides I ordered Fries (highlight of the meal) and Chili no onion (beans were the same type as pork and beans not a bean I like at all not their fault). My husband ordered a chicken Cesar salad with no onions and Dorthey Lynch dressing on the side. When the order came out I received my meat plate no sides and my husband received a side salad with onion in it and Cesar dressing throughout. When our waiter dropped off our food my husbands beverage was empty and the waiter didn't offer a refill. After noticing the lack of food that was ordered versus what we go we flagged down our waiter and asked him about my sides and my husbands chicken free onion and dressing filled salad. He said he must not have added it to the order on his terminal. My beverage was empty at this point and still no refill until we asked. While waiting for the food to come out and our second round of drinks. We believe it was the manager who walked by asked how things were going my husband responded "Not good" and the manager walked away pretty sure he wasn't paying attention to the people as his eyes were everywhere and nowhere at the same time and didn't even make direct eye contact with either of us.
We did like the sassy and sweet bbq sauce mixed with a bit of the spicier sauce we both used that for out meat as the orange/brown coloured one that came with my meal was not appetizing for us.
We did finally find out our waiters name when we received the bill.

This place is not the Famous Dave's of the past. Spent $30 on a take out meal that wasn't worth $10. Chicken, rib tips, and brisket. We picked the food up 25 min after ordering and it was cold. The brisket looked and tasted like prefab meat (Spam). The rib tips were fairly tasty, but dry as a bone. The chicken drumstic/thigh was a little bigger than a Cornish Hens'. I would not buy this meal again for $10 let alone $30. In fact, I would buy my supper from the McDonalds next to it as crazy as that sounds as it would be a better deal. I used to eat here once a month years ago, but haven't had a chance for some time. I will never waste my money here again.

We took our grandsons, ages 7 and 10, for their 1st visit to Famous Dave’s. They loved the kids rib dinner!!! One had the fabulous side salad and the other had applesauce. And they loved that I shared my birthday dessert, the brownie sundae! We’ll be back!
