“We picked this restaurant because it was well rated online, the menu looked good and it was in walking distance to our hotel. We were not disappointed. Our waitperson, Jen, was prompt, courteous, professional and non-interruptive, and she knew the menu offerings well. We ordered Brussels sprouts to start, and they were fabulous. For his entree, my husband ordered the mixed grill with chicken breast and salmon with French onion soup to start. He liked the lighter broth in the soup and commented on the tenderness of the chicken. He's particular about how done salmon needs to be and Jen did a great job communicating it to the chef who cooked it perfectly for him. I ordered the beer-braised pot roast, which did not disappoint. The meat was lean and tender and the gravy was rich and silky. I wish I could have eaten all of it, but the portions are quite generous. If we're ever in Lincoln, Nebraska, again, we won't have to look for a place to have a lovely dinner experience.“
