They have dairy-free, gluten-free, yes, but also tons of vegan options - all clearly marked. If you love pastries and desserts, this place is heaven. There are so many options! I just got a few for a tasting plate: strawberry bar, slice of Boston cream cake, cinnamon roll, and raspberry pastry. Also got pints of strawberry and chocolate brownie ice cream.
It tastes like they use fresh fruit in their pastries and it gives it a wonderful punch of tartness against the sweet. MMMMMMMM. The cinnamon roll was sweet and light - best bread I've had as a vegan, I think. But the Boston cream pie? O M G. It was all I could do to get even a bit of it home to let others taste. It was truly delectable. The ice cream was so-so: the chocolate brownie was definitely better than the bland strawberry which could use the same touch of fruit as the pastries.
The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, open, and helpful. If I lived in this city, I'd be visiting this place often. Delicious.

I purchased a gluten-free cake from Goldenrod Pastries for my wedding, and it was so delicious! We had several guests with Celiac disease, and they were so excited when they had a gluten-free option that was amazing. I wish I would have ordered a bigger one! Definitely recommend!

Goldenrod Pastries has the BEST gluten free treats I have ever had from a bakery, and I have traveled to some high rated bakeries in Denver, Boston, Tucson, and more! We are lucky to have them making such high quality pastries here in Nebraska. My favorites are the fluffernutter cookie sandwiches.

Goldenrod is a bright spot in Lincoln! My heart is always happy when I walk down Prescott St. with a cute pink box full of treats (that I most often eat in the car before I can even make it home 😆). Their variety is amazing, their treats are BEAUTIFUL, and the atmosphere is so fun :) When I’m away on trips, I always crave Goldenrod and truly enjoy stopping by regularly. They do an excellent job of keeping items separate for people with food sensitivities. Their custom orders are always spot-on and handled with care. The customer service is great, and the option to order online is super convenient. I’ve really enjoyed Goldenrod and highly recommend them!
Drove awhile to get there to try macrons but they were sold out which was disappointing. Didn't try anything else
