I loved the food at Grey Whale and it brought memories to me which I had never thought I'd remember again. I was reminiscing over my tuna bowl, while I was suddenly interrupted during my meal by my server; Andre Bowman. Although the food was amazing and life-changing, one could say, Andre Bowman's service ruined my experience.
Edit: After revisiting Grey Whale, my opinions on the spot have drastically changed, Andre Bowman has transformed totally, from a useless employee, to the star of the show. I recommend not only the food, but also for any diners to request Mr. Bowman as their waiter for a world-class service and dining experience.

Loved stopping in here!
I used to work for DD and would always enjoy picking up here, because the workers were nice to me. I finally went in as a customer, and they helped me (as a vegetarian who had never been there and wasn't sure what to get) pick out something that I truly enjoyed. She also sent me off with some mochi which i had never tried and really liked!!
I'm excited to come back soon and try more options.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Grey Whale, and I can honestly say it was one of the best culinary experiences I’ve had in a long time! From the moment I stepped inside, I was welcomed by the warm, inviting atmosphere and the incredibly friendly staff who made me feel right at home.
The menu is diverse and thoughtfully crafted, with something for every palate. I decided to go with the chef’s special, and it did not disappoint! Every dish was beautifully presented, bursting with flavor, and prepared to perfection. The freshness of the ingredients was evident in every bite, and you can tell that the chefs here truly care about the quality of their food.
The service was impeccable—attentive without being overbearing. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was flawless, and their knowledge of the menu helped me make the perfect choices. They were more than happy to accommodate my dietary preferences, which I greatly appreciated.
To top it all off, the ambiance is simply delightful—whether you’re looking for a cozy, intimate dinner or a fun night out with friends, Grey Whale strikes the perfect balance. The decor is tasteful, and the atmosphere is lively yet relaxed, making it the perfect spot for any occasion.
If you’re looking for a restaurant that offers incredible food, outstanding service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, look no further. Grey Whale has quickly become one of my favorite spots, and I can’t wait to come back. Highly, highly recommend!

I went here for lunch and a blonde hair girl and a curly hair dude met me. They were very nice and the atmosphere was great, nice music, and accommodated my needs. I got Crab Ragoons and they were hot and looked great!

We ordered crab rangoon which was good the pork Bowl had no flavor or salt at all. The broth was thin and tasteless although the egg was good. We ordered three small egg rolls which were frozen in the middle. The gentleman at the front was on his phone the whole time and there was no music and no customers. The atmosphere was very sad. We were so excited to go here for our date and we were disappointed. We paid upfront and it asked us to tip before we even received our food and I don't like that because it was very sad service food and atmosphere. They did offer to remake egg rolls, but we left. Drab.

Extremely generous portions of everything in my build-your-own poke bowl. I got the brown rice, a scoop of grilled chicken, and a scoop of beef bulgogi. So delicious! The person who made my order drenched the rice in sauce, and covered the bowl with a heaping portion of crispy flakes. I devoured my meal! ? I've also enjoyed the ramen that I've had here in the past.
