Hacienda Real Highlands

This is a very busy restaurant. The staff was very friendly. Parking was limited. I had Caldo De Res to go, and it was in a tub. They gave me my order of 2 of them in a paper bag. Well, it tore outside and was all over the floor, and they did give me another one. Reluctantly but gave me one. The food was very delicious! It had a lot of meat, no cabbage was in it at all. But it was very delicious and flavorful.

Would not recommend take out from here. After receiving a text message that our food was ready, we showed up at our specified pick up time. Our food was not ready, and we had to wait. They offered us a seat and said they would bring us chips and salsa while we waited. Once we were sat, no one ever visited our table again to bring us chips. After waiting about 10-15 minutes, we attempted to go up to the bar to order drinks as we had no idea how long we would be waiting for. They then said that they were just bagging up our meal and it would be out shortly so we did not purchase drinks. We then waited another 3-5 minutes before receiving our meal which was poorly prepared. They do not have proper takeout containers as they only use paper plates and aluminum foil. Because of this, a container leaked and grease soaked through the paper bag holding our food while driving back from the restaurant. Our order was put in to be picked up around 4:00-4:10 and we did not leave the restaurant until 4:30-4:35.

One of the best in town, in my opinion! Food is always 10/10 and so yummy. We always leave way too full, cause it’s just that good.

My food was awful. They overcharged for drinks. We came in during happy hour, and they did not apply the discount. They forgot to put in my sister‘s food for over an hour. DO NOT COME

The server forgot about our table. We got food and had to wait 30 minutes for him to come back and I had to ask him to come back my husbands food was horrible and the server forgot to put in my sister in laws food for over an hour. DO NOT COME

Mary was my waitress and did a fantastic job. Our food only took about 6 minutes before coming out and was truly delicious. Would highly recommend this restaurant. Cost for two people was only $30 and excellent quality. Will be coming here again, and thank you Mary for such a welcoming presence

Jalapeño cucumber margarita is delicious.

The table you set us at was cramped. And service was slow… the food was good though… you can do better and look forward to a better experience next time. Honestly the food is what keeps us coming back.

Great little spit in the highlands. I'm a big chips and cheese fan! Who isn't?! Lol Have to say he cheese sauce was a little spicy for me? I like a hint of spice, but my plalete was on 🔥. The food was very good :) wish they could tone down the cheese dip :) either way I'd eat there again :)
