This place has some great vegan options. They are using high quality ingredients including multiple fermented vegetables, fruits, and sauces. I highly recommend the avocado toast on local baked bread with fermented lemons & onions!
Great food but half of the dinning room is pure misery to sit in due to their decision to not hang shades or curtains

Food was good. It was busy so we waited almost an hour for food, which they warned us it would be a while so that’s fine . The only reason I giving this a 2 star is because I literally watched the guy in the back flip something with a spatula & holding the opposite side of the food item WITH HIS BARE HAND. No one back there was using gloves to make the food they were preparing. In my opinion that is so gross. They could be the cleanest person in the world but what if they scratch their head? What if they wipe sweat off of their face? And then touch the food with their bare hands? So gross

Had breakfast at Hub Cafe, and it was an outstanding experience! I ordered the skillet with kale, potatoes, over-easy eggs, and sausage, and it was nothing short of delicious. The kale was perfectly sautéed, adding a fresh, vibrant flavor that paired beautifully with the crispy potatoes. The over-easy eggs were cooked to perfection, with the yolks adding a rich creaminess to each bite. The sausage was savory and hearty, tying the whole dish together. The ambiance of the cafe was warm and inviting, making it a great spot to enjoy a leisurely breakfast. I highly recommend Hub Cafe for anyone looking for a fantastic breakfast option. Also Mimosas, yum!

I had the pork belly gyro bowl and it wasn’t amazing. It was fine. The menu said “crispy” and the pork wasn’t crispy at all which was a bummer. I was also disappointed with the price/portion. Fairly expensive for what it is.
This would’ve been a three star rating if it weren’t for me trying my friends Mole Chilaquiles which were fantastic. Totally redeemed the place for me. Will come back for those.

The food was okay. We had the Chicken Bulgogi Tacos and French Toast, and they looked great, but you could find the same food elsewhere that tastes better and for cheaper. A lot of self-service, only time you don't have to help yourself is when you get your drinks and food, have to return plates yourself. Waited around 30 minutes for our food. Would only recommend trying once.

If quality and sustainability are important to you, this place rocks. The food is delicious, and you can tell it’s prepared fresh using quality ingredients.
If you care about affordability and portion sizes, however, you’ll be frustrated. I paid $21 for the savory breakfast skillet with two eggs. (Black coffee would have been an extra $4.) Is there anything inherently wrong with this? Definitely not. Does it make it difficult for me to justify frequent visits? Absolutely.
Just know what’s important to you. If sustainably sourced ingredients and quality preparation matter to you more than anything else, you’ll be more than content :)

This happens almost every time and I’m finally sick of it, they don’t cook the egg all the way through when I ask them to, the don’t let me order sides of beans or rice for some reason they refuse to explain and I’ve tried to ask, my boyfriend has tried to ask and all around I don’t get it I used to love this place but something’s changed and I’m genuinely sad about it :(

I love the Hub! It's local, the food is delicious and healthy! Last time I ate here I asked for an iced latte to stay but was given a latte in a plastic to-go cup with a straw. One plastic cup and straw don't make a big difference in the grand scheme of thing, but with most business's in Lincoln still using single use plastics I think The Hub would be a pioneer to eliminate single use plastics.
