Cool place in the Manse Building. Cool variety of flavored donuts. We bought a half dozen to sample.. our favorites were the Boston Crème, strawberry cheesecake, and apple pie donuts. I wish they had coffee but we did go there in the afternoon so no big deal.

Got there on a Sunday morning and their donut case was more than half empty, the employee behind the counter informed they they only had donuts leftover from yesterday. I’m not super picky with my donuts, but if you are charging me $18/dozen, I want more than just iced with sprinkles (all their really special one like cheesecake were out) and day old too.

Terrible location with no signage. Unfindable.
The only reason it scored a one is because I could not score it any lower. I arrived at 700 am on a Saturday morning. The only doughnuts they had were the ones left over from the previous day. No fresh doughnuts even though they were open all night. I asked what was the night staff doing they did not make any doughnuts. Total disappointment and what makes it even more disappointing is this is the same exact thing that has happened the last 2 times that I chose to try to give it a shot. Unfortunately they have lost my business in Lincoln. I will go elsewhere to buy doughnuts for my work. Thankfully I have the opportunity to shop other Hurts doughnuts when I am out of town like Omaha and Branson. The management in Lincoln has successfully destroyed a good doughnut shop. When you pay a premium price 6.00 for a cinnamon roll or a apple fritter you at least deserve it to be fresh.

Tried to visit Thanksgiving and store closed. Thought hours were 24/7. Visited 12/16/24 and only accepting cash. I only had $15 in cash. Told the female working. She was extremely rude. Told me to look at the menu board to see what I could buy. Every doughnut I asked for I had to repeat as she just stared at me.. I am loud. Never thanked me for my business, not one smile. I
always tip. Not her. Won't go back there. That worker sure needs customer service training.
Parking: Park on the street at a meter.

I tried to order donuts for an event. For days I have tried calling and they NEVER answer their phone or return messages. Very disappointed.
Don’t bother trying to place an order - take your business elsewhere.

1st time there after a Nebraska game. I'm so glad I did and spent the money for a dirty dozen. So much variety, it was hard to pick just 12. My friend got a fritter that could easily fill a normal dinner plate. Yet another place I definitely would love to go to again and pick another 12. Or more.

Great interesting donuts and I heard they can make a milkshake out of them also.

Have been to this location multiple times in the past but has been about a year since we've been in. Grabbed some coffee from The Mill and wanted to eat a couple donuts in the shop. When we arrived we quickly saw that wasn't going to be an option. At 10:30 AM the tables and chairs were all still pushed into a corner and covered with sprinkles, glaze, and donut bits. According to a sign posted, they weren't able to make shakes as their freezer was broken and no Capachino as that machine was out of order as well. The cash register area where you check out was beyond filthy with pastry schmootz from what looked like when Coach Devaney was around. Was all very disappointing as this used to be a favorite spot of ours. We did get a couple donuts, as we felt we were pot committed, and took them to go. Sad Day.

Donuts are good, price seems fair... on the high end, so you wouldn't think a tip jar would be necessary for the staff, unless the customer service is just consistently out of this world and they earn the extra "dough" - but 9/10 times we don't even get a friendly greeting. Which makes the aggressive spin of the computer screen that prompts you to add a tip, leave a poor taste in your mouth. But at least that's not from the donuts. We all need the dough, and I'm pretty confident you have a mechanical dough kneader, so maybe focus on customer service if you want to earn tips in this economy.

I was really looking forward to my Nutella donut or at least what I was told would be a Nutella donut, but to my disappointment, the chocolate center was just regular chocolate icing.
