It's been better during previous visits. The Menu has contracted (not necessarily a bad thing), but it's pretty limited. My steak was closer to medium than medium rare and our Firecracker Shrimp were heavily breaded and over fried. Service was excellent and the whisk(e)y selection is awesome (but they need a list for the table). Our blueberry bread pudding was really good.
Lovely place to eat in the Haymarket. We had the salmon salad, and the Wagyu fillet. Both were excellent. A little disappointed in the cocktails, though, had the old-fashioned and the Moscow Mule. Our server was awesome, unfortunately I can't remember her name.
We ordered Surf and Turf. The steak was very good. The shrimp were tiny and disappointing.
Great food, really great service, the ambiance could use a little help but overall we really enjoy this restaurant!
The cocktails were great tasting and the Corn fritters were delicious. Schnitzel was made perfectly.

The food was excellent. The server was great. The only recommendation would be to decrease the wait time for drinks. We will go back.
My wife and I really enjoyed our experience last weekend before we left for home after attending the USC Nebraska football game. Mary was our bartender and server. The Manhattans we had were perfectly balanced and are surf and turf was tender and cooked perfectly. The only thing they need to improve on is to warm up the interior dining space with more booths or banquettes. .

We enjoyed our dinner recently at JTK, however, it used to be THE place for craft cocktails and not sure what changed but my mule was made with RealLime juice vs. fresh squeezed and I could not really appreciate. To be fare, the waitress made me a different drink (which was very kind) but it was also made with Reallime. And why is the waitress making cocktails? However, our food was excellent as was the ambience.
Our server, Tatum, was so sweet. She made our visit enjoyable. Your food courses are well spaced. You have time to eat your appetizer before you salad arrives and time to eat your salad before the mail course arrives. All of the food was divine. Firecracker shrimp is a must! The salmon and sirloin were cooked to perfection. And the brownie sundae is to die for!! We will definitely return!
Excellent Ribeye and salad. Staff alot of fun to interact with. Parked about 2 blocks away. Training new wait staff who needs to smile and show some enthusiasm. Definitely try it.

JTK has provided a great experience in previous visits; however, this visit was very frustrating.
Our appetizers arrived quickly and were good but our main meal took over one hour and thirty minutes to arrive. The chicken pasta lacked flavor but the salmon and asparagus was good. The waitress was very nice and apologetic.
Booked a 5pm reservation for 8 people and needed to be done by 6:30 for a comedy show at the arena that started at 7. Ordered entrees at 5:15 and got the entrees at 6:20. The server was so upset at how long the food was taking that she was tearing up. Her manager wouldn't let her discount our meals at all. She said that all of her tables were upset. We felt really bad that she wasn't supported by her management and was forced to face unhappy customers herself. Everyone enjoyed the food, but all of us said we wouldn't go back due to the poor service, inability to make it right with us as customers, and lack of support and abandonment of our server by management.
Service was good. But we waited over an hour for our food. We were told a party of about ten had come in just before us. Overall, the restaurant was not busy. The food was average at best. The presentation was nice. But the steaks were a bit tough and had zero flavor. It was disappointing.

WE did Date Night. The service between the appetizers and main course was quite long. But, we do like your Date Nigh menu
