We had a we can “bearly” wait shower and she made the cutest little teddy bear cupcakes. Also everyone LOVED the ultimate birthday cake cupcakes. I definitely ordered my youngest’s cake from her as well and she was mindful when I told her there could be no sprinkles, fondant, or almond extract because my son despises almond and sprinkles and fondant are a sensory issue for him. She was very kind and didn’t find my asks daunting like other bakers have!

We had a great experience ordering a custom mermaid cake for our daughter’s birthday. Kala took our idea and definitely delivered! The cake flavor (funfetti) was tasty as was the frosting and the design was exactly want we wanted. Plus, Kala is sweet as can be! We are delighted and will use her for any custom cake needs!
Kala's creations are delicious and perfect every time. We were already blown away during our taste testing. I don't know if you could call it a tasting because we definitely had more than just a taste. We got so much cake for our tasting, we had to divide it up and share it with family. Those we shared it with, raved about it.Kala was easy to communicate with and all payments were online which made everything so easy. The prices were very reasonable and everything was absolutely delicious. She delivered as well, which was very convenient!Kala knocked it out of the park for our wedding day! We incorporated our dog in our bride and groom cake. Kala made it so cute by having our pup statue look like she was eating the cake too. Thank goodness we had a couples cake because ALL of the cupcakes we ordered for our wedding were gone. By the time my husband and I were ready for dessert at our wedding, all the dessert was devoured. Luckily we still had our couples cake!10/10 would highly recommend! Kala's Kakes is phenomenal!

Kalas Kakes did a phenomenal job on my daughter’s 3rd birthday cake. She was so easy to talk to, set a date for the cake and she nailed the design and theme. She also was quick to respond and answered all my questions. Her eye for detail is one thing, but the cake also tasted fabulous. No fake, cheap sugary buttercream. I got the fresh strawberry filling and everyone raved at the flavor and moistness of the cake. She also does wonderful fondant work and made me perfect cakesicles in funfettit and chocolate. Whenever I order custom decorated cakes from grocery stores or other cake bakers in town they either look spectacular but taste is not great or vice-versa. But Kalas cake was beautiful and delicious. Her chocolate cake with oreo crunch filling was moist and perfectly flavored! Everyone at the party agreed she needed a 5 star review!
