The food is very good. I do like their sushi and this is typically the reason for a visit.The atmosphere isn't the finest; however, many restaurants have great atmosphere with terrible food. Kinja has great food.

Drive all the way from Omaha just to see what the hype was about. Didn’t eat the whole day, showed up at 7:30, they close at 9:30. Once I walked in, the front desk mean mugged me and told me to get out because apparently they were closing two hours early. Ruined my whole day, please don’t go here.

Ordered the chicken teriyaki and the chicken was rubbery, fatty, and seemingly overcooked with very little flavor. The “assorted vegetables” was simply cabbage. It was highly disappointing and downright inedible aside from the rice.

We got several rolls, udon and curry. None were great. Curry was unappetizing. I felt like the sushi was nothing better than what you could get in a grocery store and were squished together in take out boxes. Just OK. Might be spoiled as our local NC sushi places are pretty great.
