Lamars used to be amazing, lots of locations and affordable. Things have changed. $9 for a dozen donut holes and $36 for a dozen donuts! Way too expensive. Probably won’t be going back which is unfortunate.
The quality has gone down over the years. I stop by maybe two to three times every sinx months. And each time something just tastes a little less. The cake donut batter seems rather generic tasting now. Not rich and dense like it used to. The glazed donuts have suffered the most. We had some at work and I would have never guessed they were from Lamar's.
So dang expensive! Like $50.00 for a dozen?!?!
Good tasting donuts, maybe my favorite in town. But prices are laughably too high.
Donuts did not taste fresh. They were dry.
Love the ol fashion donuts
Lamar’s has the best donuts in town, no contest. They’re fresh and delicious. I dream about them. Just moved back after a couple years away and my first morning in town I picked up a box and it was everything I wanted it to be.
My personal favorite and top recommendation is the old fashioned sour cream, but the devil’s food glazed is delicious. The Sunday special of red velvet is phenomenal. A good old frosted donut with sprinkles is never a bad idea either.
Got my daughter some ice cream and thought I could get some coffee. Apparently when they run out of donuts, they quit serving coffee as well? I'm probably better off, going by reviews.
I witnessed the manager on duty on a Saturday morning yell at two very young children (5years old or so) and told them loudly to “quit jacking around”. It was horrible. I then called the manager to complain as it upset me so badly to see this. The young mother was telling her children to stop doing what they were going. The ‘manager’ who answered my phone call told me that it was he, himself that had done it. He was self satisfied and smug. I informed him that it was highly inappropriate. He countered with more self satisfaction. I will never visit this place again. And will be finding out who the actual manager is.

Top notch customer service at such an early hour!! I should've asked for the employee's name before I left today to acknowledge him properly, but please recognize whomever was serving patrons at 6:45 AM on Saturday, Jan 18th. I know he mentioned he has to commute clear from Omaha each day if that narrows down who the employee is.
He was friendly and kind, helpful on guiding my buying options for the work crew.
Great donuts and even greater customer service!!
Thank you for starting my day off so well.

Quality has gone down a lot over the last year. Every time I’ve gone the donuts are smaller and expensive.

This place was absolutely amazing and the selection of donuts was quite impressive. With being a visitor from Reno Nevada I was remembered the few times I was there. The service was outstanding and did not disappoint. Great prices and great selection.
Parking: Parking was easy and available, in and out in 10 minutes so parking was not an issue.

My wife stopped to buy popcorn and 2 donuts at 3:30 on 12/04/24...stood at donut counter for few minutes before clerk came and started turning lights off in that area...said closing and no more donut sales

What happened to the product they used to serve. This isn’t the same Lamar’s donut that has been served for many years. They used to be the premier local donut maker in town and I’ll always support Local business but the product needs to go back to what it actually was. Just really disappointed

While it has seating, for donuts, it's more of a take and go. Donuts are delicious.
