1. Why would you get rid of the California Dreaming burger??? I don't swing by often, but I get a craving for this burger every couple of months. The waitress suggested adding guac to one of the current burgers, but it wouldn't have been the same-- and almost $20 with the add-on charge.
2. I ordered the Raspberry beret today-- solid back up option. But the side of fries has shrunk significantly. The amount of fries used to be overwhelming, like almost double the size of your burger on the plate. You can look through customer uploaded photos here to see the difference.
My burger, a side dip, and just water, my total was just under $20 with tip. Just a disappointing experience for that price. The food is great, the service was about average, and overall a fine place to eat. But with prices rising, I can't imagine coming back here unless it was someone else's choice.
Please bring California Dreaming back and I'll reconsider.

We ordered take out while passing through town. Cheesesteak with a side of chips and queso and the steak salad. It was ordered 20 ahead of time and we were given a time of 730 to pick up. It was 740 by the time it was ready and the restaurant didn’t appear to be very busy. The steak salad- steak was cooked well and to correct temperature. The salad was good except for the large pieces of romaine stems, raw broccoli and tough kale. The steak and cheese was good except the side of queso was poured onto the steak and cheese. We had to scrape that off.

I ordered one All-American burger at LeadBelly restaurant for carry out. The Burger was so delicious and French Flies as well. When I picked up the burger at the restaurant, I could hear the customers talking, laughing, and exciting for drink. If I were able to drink, I would go sit down at the restaurant and enjoy the atmosphere. But since no drink at all, I decided to carry out the order. LeadBelly must be a great restaurant for eating and drinking.

Okay, so lemme tell ya about Leadbelly's down in the Haymarket. If you're anywhere near Lincoln, seriously, you gotta check this place out. Was just a great experience, like, really great people workin' there making ya feel right at home. My bartender, Danielle, was the absolute best – total shining spotlight of the visit! She recommended this killer local brewery infusion, the blonde one, and man, spot on! It was exactly what I needed. She really knows her stuff. And the food! Oh man. I dove into the Gooey Loose. Let's talk cheesy, like seriously cheesy, packed with awesome prime meat. It was just totally amazing. Came out quick too, so shoutout to Neil in the kitchen – dude cooked it perfectly! It was so good I just chilled out, took my sweet time eating, read my book, even did a bit of work there at the bar. No rush, just good vibes. Later on, the evening crew, kickass Sam and Christian, took over behind the bar. Super cool folks, totally fine with me just hangin' out and soaking it all in. Handled my constant presence like pros! Seriously tho, places like Leadbelly's are why you gotta support local. Awesome grub, great local beer choices, and staff that are genuinely cool. If you find yourself in Lincoln or specifically the Haymarket district, make tracks to Leadbelly's. It's a must go, for real. You wont regret it!

In lincoln for business ( several weeks ) - thoroughly enjoyed my lunch on one day, then a terrific afternoon Hendricks & tonic a few days later. Fortunate to have the same professional staff member both visits! Thumbs up to Hailey! She rocks!!! Can’t wait to visit again! Cheers
