Lee's Chicken in Lincoln, Nebraska, is a classic spot that delivers a hearty, satisfying meal. The fried chicken is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, perfectly complemented by their famously rich and creamy mac and cheese. Each bite is a nostalgic reminder of home-cooked goodness.

The side of corn is sweet and buttery, a simple yet delightful addition to the plate. Paired with an ice-cold soda, the meal is a comforting dive into classic American cuisine.

Lee's Chicken has a warm, inviting atmosphere that feels like a step back in time. The service is friendly and efficient, adding to the overall great dining experience. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Lee's Chicken is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic comfort food.

It's a local legend. Largely unchanged over the years. Live music in the evening, piano or organ. Fried chicken done right.

Even though I said no Breast. I still recieved one, ?... I couldn't return it because I was all the way back in Omaha when I noticed it. The other chicken pieces and sdes were good!!!! I just wished I would've enjoyed my Big piece of chicken. Threw the breast in the garbage after picking off the skin and the tip part of it

Been a customer for over 40 years. But it has gone downhill and overpriced.
Two chicken dinners, onion rings one draft beer and an iced tea should not come to $75 - watch the menu , they charge extra for everything . Even in house dressings
.Iced Tea 4.50$
Busch light DRAFT 12oz 5.50$

Baked potato , a side extra $3.50
Their “house baked potato sour cream” is additional $1.09 per serving . And use it sparingly.
Asking for no wings ” costs you $2.05
They offer all dressings. But my Blue cheese dressing was an additional 88 cents.
Hardly got my dressing on my salad , when our meals came to the table.
Sorry. Loved the place, but can’t go back .

Our waitress was great- very sweet lady.
Chicken was pretty good, maybe a little bland, but the crust was crispy and the interior was moist and juicy (something not easy to do on white meat).
Atmosphere is cool- the dining room is right out of the 50's through 70's. Don't ever change that- it really makes the place unique and gives it an authentic feel.
Liked the piano lady, its really cheesy and outdated and awesome!!!!!!

Only complaints were the sides. Corn was fine but pretty much tasted like your standard canned corn, might be time to update your corn offering (I mean it is Nebraska). Taters and Gravy game could also be revamped, tasted pretty much like your standard dinateria instants potatoes and powdered gravy.

Overall, yeah I'd go back, though I might try different sides.

Had fried chicken and mashed potatoes. The food was great. Mashed potatoes and gravy was fantastic. It was surprisingly expensive. We were a large group so that charged us a tip per person. And then they tax you on the tip too. Really? My party of 4 was $85. Not even sure that’s legal. Update: I really appreciate the reply from the owner about my review. Sorry about the confusion on the tip. To be honest, $85 isn’t bad for great food and that’s what you guys have so I will be back.
