Excellent food, excellent service. If you want to go cheap you can go in and split a pizza which is excellent. If you want to go expensive you can get sides and dessert and drinks like we did. Only thing we didn't like was the chicken on top of the mac and cheese. The beer was excellent. The BALT sandwich with sweet potato fries was excellent, truffle fries excellent.

Terrible service at Leighton’s Pub on July 26, 2025. We waited over 20 minutes and no one even took our drink order. Staff were sitting in the back seemingly on break while we were completely ignored. Another group came in 20 minutes after us and got served right away.
We walked out. Absolutely unacceptable and won’t be back which is sad because we were very excited to try the food. It doesn’t matter how good the food is or how much praise and recognition the menu gets if the service is not even basic.

I will not be coming back here. 30 minutes after arriving to Lincoln for the first time, I tried to get a beer after a 13 hour drive from Tennessee. After giving the bartender my ID, she brought it back to her manager, a blond man with a pony tail and mustache as he requested to thoroughly scan and ensure each ID was valid.
The two other individuals I came with both received their ID back, but they held onto mine even though I am years older than my friends. Ten minutes after waiting, manager stated he would not feel comfortable giving me my ID back. I stated I would call the police if he did not return it as it was my only documentation for driving. He promptly handed it back but refused me service.
If he was comfortable giving me back my ‘fake’ ID, he did not truly think it was an illegal fake ID. Due to hubris the manager was unwilling to admit my ID was not fake. I am unsure why this happened and I will definitely never be returning here.
Do NOT come here if you have an out of state ID, the manager will try to take it from you without just cause.

If you are from out of state, you’re not getting a drink here. The dorky manager with the ponytail said my boyfriend’s ID was fake, and threatened to take it from him. Super annoying because we just moved to a Nebraska an hour ago. Not a great impression because we live in the building… also sucks because he is OLDER than me. My poor 23 year old BF just needed a beer after his 24 hour long car ride (strange my ID got accepted since it’s the same state and I am younger than him). Please avoid this place, manager is awful.

We were very impressed with all aspects of Leighton's Pub. We had the wings which were delicious! Our server, Becca W. was fantastic! The Mod manager Alex made time to make us feel welcomed also. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful experience. We deal with food allergies and the staff was very knowledgeable. They even brought items to the table to have me read ingredients. Most of the food is scratch which really helps the allergy community. We will be back. Thank you for keeping us safe and having delicious food.

We booked a reservation early at 5:30 PM got seated right away and server took our orders. The food came out fast, but there weren't many people in the restaurant this early. The macaroni and cheese could've had a little more cheesy sauce on it, but my lobster roll was excellent and so were that fish and chips that are other guest had. Will be back. Thanks for a good start to our girls night out.

Stop by during a lunch on a weekday not too crowded. My son and I got seated. Waited a little while and looked over the menu. Kids menu was requested with options so that was refreshing. He grabbed A cheeseburger and Mac and cheese. I had the Thai pie and it was very good! Crisp crust coming off that wood fire stove is hitting all the senses! Adding carrots to the top was a nice treat.
