As just a normal guy I felt outta place..... vibes of I'm in the wrong place... I was genuinely interested in the place... for people that seem kinda progressive... idk why I felt singled out...

So the fact I can't come and just enjoy what this business has to offer without having the lgbqt flag shoved in my face the whole time ruins the entire experience. If you want to run a business, leave your beliefs and politics at home. It's just bad business.
Kid-friendliness: I wouldn't take my lid there because they're display a flag that represents sexuality and that's not kid friendly
I love Mana! Good study area in the front, great games area in the back. Mana has some of my favorite coffee and drinks in Lincoln, and exceptionally good food. Easily the best food at a coffee shop/cafe I've ever had.

I'm an RBT (Registered Behavior Technician). I work with autistic kids and families to help them learn life skills, emotion recognition and appropriate ways to respond to and manage emotions, and how to cope with stressors in daily life. I recently had a pipe burst in my basement and ruin a large collection of my board games I use with my clients. I reached out to one of the owners Sam and he made a large donation of used and duplicate board games he had to help me rebuild my collection. Not only a wonderful place to spend your time and money, but owners that care about their community and I'm extremely greatful. Thank you Sam!

Such a cool games cafe in Lincoln. Their food and drinks menu has grown over the years, and their selection of board and card games is impressive, too. There is a little storefront with trinkets and games you can buy as well. ?

Such a fun spot for a date or hangout! The drinks are also great to just pop in and grab even if you don’t have time for a game.

I love Mana Games! I was so excited to see Lincoln get a board game cafe (after being a big fan of Spielbound in Omaha as a youth). I was also thrilled to see something fun and interactive go into that space after Indigo Bridge moved out during the pandemic.
Mana Games does a great job of making a fun and welcoming space for gamers of all ages. From community events to board game nights with friends and family, Mana Games has it all. There is a wide selection of board games - classic and indie. I always find something fun to play. Last time I was there, I discovered a new-to-me game that now I really want to own!
I also really enjoy the food and drink they have. I always try their seasonal drinks and have yet to be disappointed.
The only downside is I don’t have enough time to go to all the cool event and game nights they host. Whether you want to play Clue, Dungeons and Dragons, or a new game you’ve never heard of before, Mana Games has something for everyone!
Dietary restrictions: They have an expansive menu and label common allergens. Ask if you have specific concerns.
Parking: There is plenty of parking nearby - just be aware of any other events downtown. I like to park in entire the surface lot just behind the behind or in the garage under the O st overpass.
Kid-friendliness: We went with my little cousin. There’s lots of kid-friendly games and food. She also was happy to play with the warhammer set models that are in the back. Kids are welcome to ply with them as long as they are gentle and put them back!
Wheelchair accessibility: Mana is limited by the building set up, but folks there are happy to do what they can to accommodate. To enter, you’ll use the side entrance by the outdoor ramp. There’s not an easy way to transition between levels of the shop, but anything can be ordered to your table by QR code so you don’t have to leave the lower space.

Wonderful place to play games for beginners and experienced players. I rented their private room for my birthday a week and a half ago and the staff was incredibly friendly and made sure to let us know that if we needed any assistance to not be shy. My family, friends and I have always had a wonderful experience here. Looking forward to joining in on a dnd sesh sometime. :)

It's a fantastic place to snack and play board games with friends and family. Mana Games is a much-needed breath of fresh air in a downtown where most entertainment centers around bars; Lincoln needs more hang-out spots like it! And Mana's staff couldn't be better, they're always kind and welcoming!
Parking: The Haymarket has a ton of parking options; assuming there's not a concert at the arena or a Husker home game, it's usually not too bad.
Kid-friendliness: They have a ton of board game options, from really easy family games to more strategic ones. If you're not sure which games would appeal most to your kids, don't hesitate to ask the staff for recommendations!
