We got the pork belly with mac n cheese and collard greens for sides. The pork belly had some dry and chewy pieces but the spices and flavors were good. They serve made-to-order fried chicken which take longer but are worth the freshness and good quality we'll try it next time.
I can't recommend Mary Ellen's enough. I got the brisket dinner with two sides. The brisket sandwich had a generous amount of meat and was made to perfection. Coupled with sweet potatoes and baked beans. Both of which were incredible. I also grabbed burnt ends and ribs. Both made perfectly. The owner, Charles, was up front, super nice guy, and very friendly. I would just say they need a sampler menu item to try more!
First time coming here. WE WILL BE COMING BACK. My fiancé and I came to try it out for his birthday and it was absolutely amazing. Staff is super welcoming and friendly. Still can’t recover from this food coma it was THAT GOOD.
