Had a great time! Emailed the venue since website didn't show a children's menu and heard back immediately!!! They even offered to make Mac &Cheese for our grandson!!! Food and service were good. Someone checked on our table to see how our grandson liked his food!!!
We had a bad experience all the way around. Service was terrible. Bartender was slow because he had to fill in. Out of wings. We will not go back. Had to call them to have them let Open Table know so that I got my points. Weren't busy but had a lot of excuses. All around big disappointment.
Love the breakfast buffet on the weekends.

Just stopped in for a beer, bartender and staff where friendly
A stellar Nebraska staple, especially if you grab a seat at the bar. Classic and timeless.

Cheese Curds were excellent! We've had bad luck with them lately but these were crunchy and not greasy, great marinara! My husband started with the Beer Cheese Soup and said it was one of the best soups he's ever had period!
Our friends had a Patty Melt with a Caesar Salad and a Cheddar Double Double Burger with fries. No complaints. Everything executed very well.
My husband had a Reuben, said it was also good, could've used more dressing. Onion Rings were panko coated, thick and crunchy and yummy. Onto the fish. I'd seen pictures and it looked great. Instead of fish and chips I opted for the Cod Sandwich. Fish was cooked perfectly, crispy and flaky. Coleslaw was pretty basic but the garlic aioli took it over the top! Lots of pickles for me. Our friend and I agreed on the delicious toasted brioche bun. We also both thought the fries could have been a bit more done but were seasoned well.
Service was great! Sam did a great job helping us and was very attentive. I should mention you have to access the restaurant through the Cornhusker Hotel lobby. We will definitely be back!

Simple, hearty, and satisfying food.
Reliably good service.
Warm, convivial, and chilled atmosphere.
I quite like coming to this place for a dependable experience. I just get a burger and fries (good!) and side salad (passable!), so I can’t vouch for other offerings. I know the Cornhusker is a moderately upscale hotel, but set your expectations for the restaurant being casual but casual well done.

Certainly probably had as the music was too loud and it was hard to have a conversation

Went for apps and drinks. The place was not busy at all, but it took us 10 minutes to get our drinks and our server wasn’t very welcoming or attentive at all. The food was meh and the drinks were okay!

The drinks from the bar were great! The food and service from our waitress were sub par. We ordered the Turkey BLT, the 2 pieces of bacon that came on the sandwich were small and full of fat. We called what we assumed to be a manager over, he got an additional side of bacon to us to add to the sandwich, but it was again full of fat. I attempted to order a grilled chicken sandwich, but there was no honey mustard available so i went with the recommended chicken quesadilla, save your money. Our waitress was what appeared to be 1 of 2 on the floor. The other was busting her rump while ours did a lot of standing around and not really wait on what appeared to be her only two tables. We are usually pretty easy going and know the service industry can be overwhelmed, but there was no attempt on service from our waitress. Wouldn’t recommend this place unless you wanted to sit at the bar for a drink.

Overall, it was a good visit. Service was fast but difficult to get our check. Food was good (fresh and tasty). If looking for food allergies, not many choices.

For those of you who waited in line for a Mother's Day dinner, keep Miller Time Pub & Grill in mind for next year. Or, just go there sooner than that. This is a good place. The menu is simple, but everything on it is well executed. I don't know that I'd call it a "gem", but never been disappointed by anything there.
