Old Chicago Pizza + Taproom

I used to work at an Old Chicago for many years, but the store closed and I hadn't been to an OC in 9 years. When I walked in to pick up my to-go order, I was immediately greeted, and asked how I was. I told them was picking up and the host came out of kitchen with my order and was equally as friendly as the waitress who greeted me. The restaurant was clean, atmosphere was excellent and I was throughly impressed.

Order a Chicago 7 OC thick and was told it was there deep dish pizza. Not at all a deep dish pizza. Also ordered some Jamaican jerk wings and received some old dry no sauce wings with looks like herb seasoning sprinkled on top.

Love they have plenty of options for those of us that cannot eat red meat. Love their fried pickles and both green/black olive pizza with cream cheese

I hate to apologize for the 5 star rating on a chain restaurant (because I almost never do for precedence): however, Old Chicago is my GO TO spot for beer and pizza and ALL FOUR in Omaha closed. So making the drive down for a Thai Pie and cold beer makes me smile.

I visited some of the pizza restaurants or shops in and around Lincoln, but I felt Old Chicago Pizza, was offering the best variety of pizza. I tried Farm Daughter and other pizzas, they have ready-made two-veg pizzas. And many more customisable pizzas, I felt this shop was quite comfortable and good.

Our waitress was really nice, but she didn't deserve a tip.

I made the trip from Omaha to check out this Old Chicago and had a great experience. Terry the manager came over and ask how things were. Saul the bartender did a great job, keeping the drinks flowing. I was there for a shift change and it was very smooth. Highly recommend!

I have this gift card and tried to use it. They would not accept it. It has their name on it and their logo. If you won't accept this gift card then perhaps you need to change the name of your restaurant. That's false advertising.

Great experience that started off right thanks to the super-welcoming and efficient gentleman who sat me at a booth in the bar. Comfortable temperature, just right music, and tennis on the big screen! Smiling server Sophia didn’t even blink at my coffee order and brought me some, hot and fresh - and much appreciated. I had the Individual size pizza, which was hot, delicious, delivered crazy quickly, and too much food for this individual. Happy to take home half for dinner! Recommend, will return.

I should have gotten the thin crust. The original crust is really thick. But I enjoyed it regardless of the fact.
