First time here. Got the Backyard Burger and Truffle Fries. Food was great and staff was friendly. Only drawback which in not a big deal is they asked how I wanted the burger cooked. I said medium-rare but it was medium/medium well. It still was great and I will be back
I was recently here and the food looked like it came out of a microwave prepackaged food. It even tasted like the stereotypical TV frozen dinner. Go here if you like to spend money on frozen foods besides easily going to the grocery store to get the same thing on a cheaper price. The service was fine but I heard some crazy woman screaming at the employees from the back. It made me very unsettled and uncomfortable. The employees get yelled at a lot from a whining woman I feel terrible for them in the kitchen. It’s an atmosphere that makes me feel very bad and uncomfortable about the screaming woman.
Something has definitely changed in the atmosphere and service since the last time I was here. I placed a pick up order and said it would be ready at 5:50 so I got here at 5:50 and after waiting at the check counter for an additional 10 minutes they said it would be another 30 minutes. We placed the order at 5:20 and your telling me it’ll takes 1 hour and 45 minutes to make a chicken sandwich and French dip. While waiting at the check counter, there was a couple in front of me and behind me and we all were looked at by staff and not acknowledged a single time by the 4 members who walked by. The staff walks around dragging their feet on ground, no politeness in the out voice just a “ya whatever” attitude. The check counter girl asked “whats the name” when I said I was here to pick up my order and she didn’t even go check or anything just said it’s going to be another 30 minutes. Like the staff just walks around like they are so annoyed. After an additional 40 minutes of waiting for my order that was supposed to be ready at 5:50 I get it and it’s cold and I have to heat it back up in microwave at home. Now the food, the chicken sandwich was definitely fried in old oil; it had this disgusting taste and texture to it. Raw onion on our Brussels
Sprouts which I believe were supposed to go on my husband’s French dip which he paid extra for and didn’t get. I would understand if it was busy but there was only 10 tables full. The gal finally gave me my bag and was like “I put extra sauce in the bag for the wait” like we order and paid for extra sauce. It was “for the wait” we paid for it.
I had the meatball it was very good and service was really good
brinley is the BEST bartender hands down!! i only go when she’s working! she makes best drinks and great conversations!
The atmosphere was friendly and inviting. It was clean and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. I had the pork schnitzel very good! I definitely will go back!
Atmosphere is great but something has changed. The food note is absolutely horrible and it took them an hour/ half to get us our food. We didn’t even there and took our food to go. This is what it used to be. Very disappointed. Ps the workers there have 0 customer service.
We came in the evening there was no one there so every was fast. The food was great my only beef would be that the fried chicken on my sandwich could have used some seasoning. The veggies that came with the chicken fried chicken were amazing and the potatoes and gravy on point. The gnocchi was amazing the fries were to die for so crispy and perfect. The ranch was so so good. The mules were pretty tasty. Would definitely go back and eat here again. Try it out it’s very very good.

The hamburger wasn't cooked all the way.
The floor is covered in grease to the point you hardly can stand up. The service was slow and not rude but not overly friendly by any means.

Just sat down and waited 15 minutes and wasn't greeted at all besides at the door. Didn't have anyone talk to us for those 15 minutes, so we went across over to Charred Burger. There wasnt a lot of people at Ollie and Hobbes, and i didn't want to flag someone down. Doesn't seem like my job as the customer.
Can't rate the food, service, or atmosphere because we didn't experience any of it. The server was serving the table next to us and returned 4 times for them. Staff passed by multiple times and could have seen us with the menu and no drinks on the table.
We drove across town to try it.
Charred Burger had their server over within the minute. The prices seemed better, and we weren't ignored. Huge letdown at Ollie and Hobbes. My silverware had nasty smudges on it as well. Gross. I figured I would mention that we have never walked out on a restaurant either.

I’m writing this review from charred next door. My husband and I walked in at 5:42 and were sat immediately. We were then ignored for 15 minutes, servers, bussers, and staff walked past our table 8-12 times without a single acknowledgement. I would understand more if it was packed but it truly was not.
We walked out and were told “thanks for coming in” while the girls who checked us in were talking at the host stand. It could have been a miscommunication but to have so many people walk past our table and seeing us without drinks or anything seemed rude and lazy. We walked over to Charred at 5:59 and were sat, greeted, ordered an appetizer and got our drinks by 6:03pm.

The food was blah and the reason I say that is the burger I got had a thin patty. The lettuce, tomato and pickle were thicker than the patty was and Actually was better part of the sandwich. My wife got a pork schnitzel that she said was bland and could’ve used Either salt which was not available table, or a mushroom gravy on top.
While eating there, if you called that, we noticed a waitress or maybe a team lead /Manager sitting at the bar Drinking wine and then help serving food. I don’t know if this is kosher but in any business I’ve ever ran or been manager of we never had our staff drinking while on the job.
Service was OK, The Kid just didn’t feel like coming by and checking on us. And refilled our drinks as we were getting ready to leave.
Would I recommend this place,? Probably not. But I might have to get another chance maybe it was an off night. But it will be a while before I go back.

I was pleasantly surprised with this place. My first time going to this restaurant, the quality and the taste was 10 out of 10. We order an appetizer and burgers and the service and attention to detail of our waiter was fantastic. I recommend the fry Brussels sprouts and the mushroom burger, but the onion rings were to die for! Prices were not bad and food was tasty

Horrible. Service was terrible, French dip was the quarter of the size of normal. Chicken strips were so overcooked my daughter couldn’t bite them. No refills. Never again will I be back.

It was nice and quiet during our visit. Server was very friendly. Menu was definitely a little off the wall, but still delicious. They do have some less adventurous options as well.
