They are always out of food and you have no way of knowing that unless you show up and see that they’ve closed early.
The food is great, but I am giving 1 star because of their hidden ways of ripping you off. I went there a few days ago, they had 1 meat combo priced as $13.5, they market 1 meat combo as 1 meat and 2 sides. Then they started to ask me what meat, I said burnt ends for that they added another ($1.5), they asked about the sides, I said cheesy cheesy potatoes they charged another ($1), for the other side I said mac and cheese and they charged another ($1.5), and then they asked for a drink, I said no to drink.. and then they flipped their big screen asking for a tip.. long story short, for the 1 meat combo what they marketed as $13.5.. they charged me around $20. Very very unfair place!!!!
If you want barbecue in lincoln this is the spot, the employees are lovely and the food is phenomenal. Their cornbread isone of my favorite sides and is made right there in the restaurant as well as all of their sides. The manager is an absolute peach and helps to make the atmosphere so great and service run so smoothly!

Been eating at this place since Belmont and West 0. Today took a friend, big disappointment. Ordered the Jacks combo. Sides limited, no coleslaw or macaroni salad. Meats were bland. Brisket, pulled pork no flavor, ribs were great. Can’t say I will be back. Food has really gone down in quality.

Got the burnt end sandwich and it was perfection. Also got a side of mac n cheese with it and the mild BBQ sauce. Everything tasted so good. ? I'll have to try the brisket and cornbread next time.

We’ve been here many times and tonight the food just wasn’t what it used to be.ribs were ok but the pork was greasy. Out of straws and honey for the cornbread. Disappointed.

Excellent BBQ ribs, brisket, and burnt ends. The cole slaw and beans were good also.

The food was good, but the tables, bathroom, and sauce station were dirty.

Dined in today. It was disappointing when compared to prior visits. The brisket and burnt ends were cold. Flavor wasn’t bad though. The Texas toast wasn’t really toasted. The fries were way over seasoned. Cheesy potatoes were not bad, but were not warm. Be prepared to get your meat combo upcharged if you order anything other than pulled pork or links. The person running the register was very sweet and service was quick. Most disappointingly, they are down to only 2 barbecue sauces. We used to love to try all the different sauces. Hopefully, they can get it together, because I would much rather go to this type of restaurant rather than a chain restaurant.

We were going to have lunch on Monday with our son. We arrived there at 11:30 and they weren't open. In fact chairs were still up on the tables. We decided to go across to another food place to eat and past by on our way to our cars and still no one there. We won't be back because that seems to be there MO.
Excited for first meal here. Checked Facebook for any holiday hours (none mentioned), checked Facebook for any closing early posts (none made), double check google hours (all signs pointing to open). Packed up family and drove across town, just to show up to be rudely yelled at after walking in the door that they were closed. Hoped for better.
I had the brisket sandwich and beans. Both were excellent.

The fries were good. That's it.Edit to add more info, per the owners request:We were there today (1/11). We had ribs, brisket, fries, potato salad, corn bread.-Ribs were tough and flavorless-Brisket was dry and flavorless(I really questioned if these were even smoked properly because they were both lacking a good smoke ring. Seemed like they were cooked in an oven to be honest.)-Potato salad I suppose I can't fault you for completely because your cashier told me you guys don't even make any of your sides. But also I can because why aren't you guys even making your own sides? Either way, it was bland and left much to be desired.-Corn bread was a good consistency, but was just meh in the flavor department.-The bbq sauce offered literally tasted like Kraft KC Masterpiece $1.50 bottled sauce. And it was the only option, weird.-Pickles and fries were good.
