Rutabaga’s has been providing wonderful vegan food since Sarah began with her very first meals many years ago. The Swiss mushroom burger is one of my favorites! The Cubano is my all-time favorite. I don’t know what a meat version taste like but this sandwich is fabulous. Sometimes I request it on sourdough and to have it grilled! The nachos are wonderful and I am a total sucker for the mac & cheese!!
Stopped in before the Husker game today. Nachos were delicious! Tried to order the peach cobbler from the Pre-game specials flier. Was told “sorry, that was advertised, it’s not available because no one made it” 😕
This little restaurant deserves more than 5 stars. I absolutely love Sara (the owner) and her warm, welcoming restaurant. The food is like pieces of heaven, whatever you order, you won’t regret it because everything is so delicious. A couple years ago, I even had the chance to work here, but I had to leave the country and life went in a different direction. That experience made me appreciate this place even more.
