2nd time going and decided to get a shake, definitely wasn’t the best. Added too much milk. The first time she blended it, it was like soup so she added more ice cream before giving it to me and it still wasn’t thick. Couldn’t even taste the flavor of ice cream

We just happened upon this shop as we passed thru Lincoln, ice cream was so good! First time I've ever seen square scoops so that was neat! Looks clean and organized, the lobby area was clean! I loved the napkin holders! ?
Only 4 stars cause the lobby was full because there was only one person working and we had to wait a little bit. But we'll Def stop again next time we come thru!

Went in on the 6/19 around 8 and there was only one employee with a line of people. That young man worked hard and stayed positive despite the butt kicking he was receiving. You are lucky to have him.

Scoops at 2840 S 70th is a great place to go -- BUT -- I'm sorry, the square ice cream scoops are cute and all for a bowl of ice cream, but WHAT IGNORANT DUMMY THINKS THAT YOU CAN PUT A SQUARE SCOOP OF ICE CREAM INTO A WAFFLE CONE OR A SUGAR CONE WITHOUT THE CONE FALLING APART???? ALL YOU GET IS ALLLL ICE CREAM CONE AND NO ICE CREAM, which is why the owner is conning everyone and deceiving everyone with those cutesy artsy square scoops❗️ Your buying a stupid square scoop and he is cheating you on the amount of ice cream by not providing FULL ROUND SCOOPS for the ice cream cones❗️❗️❗️Scoops needs to give the CUSTOMER A CHOICE of a normal round scoop of ice cream on their cones or an obnoxious cone wrecking square scoop which totally destroys the entire ice cream cone experience❗️❗️❗️ It is one thing to give the kids a cool square scoop of ice cream IN A BOWL, but me being a midwest European guy, I eat ice cream every day -- Scoops has great ice cream flavors, and I love my shakes from there, BUT - you CANNOT get an edible ice cream cone from Scoops because the owner is too ignorant and dumb to provide a NORMAL ROUND SCOOPER TO MAKE A NORMAL EDIBLE ICE CREAM CONE -- 100% ICE CREAM CONE FAIL❗️❗️❗️❗️ If you want a cutesy SQUARE ice cream scoop in a bowl, then this is your place...if you want a good shake, Scoops has great flavors....but if you want an ice cream cone - SCOOPS IS NOT THE PLACE TO COME TO BECAUSE YOU CANNOT FIT A SQUARE SCOOP OF ICE CREAM INTO ANY CONE WITHOUT THE CONE FALLING APART AND FALLING ALL OVER THE PLACE IN YOUR HANDS AND ON YOUR CLOTHING❗️❗️❗️❗️ The owner is not smart enough to give the customer a choice of scoop styles FOR THEIR ICE CREAM CONES❗️ OR IF the owner chooses to ONLY GIVE SQUARE SCOOPS IN A CONE - then the owner is deliberately and knowingly cheating every ice cream cone of the true value of ice cream you are paying for❗️❗️❗️

So good! The person helping me was very kind and outgoing! I definitely recommend the cotton candy ice cream. Most cotton candy flavored things are hit-or-miss, so I was worried I wouldn’t like it, but it was amazing! I just love the vibe of the place! It’s a cute little ice cream shop. The squares are also super cute.

People should know this business switched ownership and is completely renovated with new flavors! It still has the unique square scoops and the owners were a couple of the nicest people you will meet. Awesome prices, amazing icecream, and super friendly service. I’m so happy that someone saved this business and still calls it Scoops. Screw all the negative people in the reviews - go get some delicious ice ream from this place!!

I got a scoop of ice cream today on a sugar cone. It came as a small square of ice cream and they don’t even push the ice cream into the cone. I pushed it down. By the time I got thru the ice cream, I had half a cone left so I threw the empty cone away. $3.44 for a tiny ice cream cone. Ugh. I know the first time I went in I got a lot more ice cream! What happened??
