I usually don’t leave reviews, but I find my experience absolutely ridiculous. I ordered a peanut butter crunch frozen drink, which didn’t have any crunch in it, and was melted when I received it.
My friend and I both experienced some sort of a food poisoning after drinking one of the frozen drinks, and my rear literally split open with the force of how badly my body rejected that concoction. I’m not quite sure why this happened, but my best guess is that their machines are unsanitary, because I have never had an experience quite this horrible. I am very disappointed and will not be ordering another drink from here.

i don’t know if i had a particular allergy or what (i am not lactose intolerant) but i ordered a frozen sugar cookie frozen coffee and it was basically liquid/melted, with little to no whipped cream, but that’s besides the point.
i ordered alongside my friend who just partook in a similar, if not worse situation just now. she got a frozen coffee as well for reference. we ordered our drinks yesterday morning and up until around 15 minutes ago (around 7:45pm) we both simultaneously while at our separate homes experienced the wrath of 1000 suns come from our bowels. i have never had such a horrible ache that creeped up on me 30 minutes before the storm that partook in my toilet.
i go to the restroom practically SPRINTING and relieve myself from what feels like a gnome in my intestines tangling and wringing them out like a wet towel. i wish i was exaggerating when i say that my stomach was CONVULSING in attempts to get whatever was in my system out. what proceeded was a battle i wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy. as i am suffering the pure vomit coming from my rear end, i message my friend asking what we ate in common yesterday as we had a sleepover and then she said it could be the drinks we had. within the past 24 hours that is the only possible thing we both had in common.
now this is relevant because within 5 minutes of me sharing my experience, my friend texts me saying she currently (nearly minutes after me) was experiencing the exact same issue. when i tell you the force of pure jagged liquid that came from her left her with a RIP in her sphincter that was bleeding from how bad it was.
i personally work at a coffee shop that serves frozen beverages as well and have never had this issue as we clean it multiple times throughout the day and fully wash every part of the machine at night. i am concerned that the root cause of me and my friends sickness was due to a bacteria on equipment due to lack of cleanliness.
now i dont fully know that this is the case because we went through the drive through, therefore i could not see the frozen machine, but it is genuinely the only probable cause for this situation. i’ve had scooters in the past but this was the first time having one of their frozen drinks… i fear that i will not be buying another frozen drink just to be safe
just my experience but i figured i’d warn. i would not be posting this vulgar of a review on my personal email unless i was being fr. my posterior nether region feels as if someone took a cheese grater to it.

Every single time I come here, I specifically ask for my drinks to be made with oat milk due to having an intolerance to dairy. Every single time they still make it with regular milk. I’ve even tried coming in to order to see if that will help and they still continue to not do what I ask. I really wanted to give them a second chance because it is on my way to work, but I am left disappointed every time.

The service here is always so kind and fun, but I had to leave a review today because the baristas made a personalized drawing on my coffee for me! I feel like they are one of the last stores in town to keep up this fun habit of adding little drawings to drinks, and it absolutely makes my day. I was too out of it in the moment to recognize what the barista meant when she said she’d made me a little cloud with rain on my cup for the rainy day, but I had to come back and leave my gratitude now that I know what she meant. It’s so cute and thoughtful, and even though it’s such a small gesture, it just adds so much to the Scooter’s experience and to feeling valued as someone coming in for a cup of coffee. Thank you to everyone at this store!!!!!! And thank you so much to the morning crew this morning (3/29) for your cute drawings to get me through this rainy day! You are amazing and your work is appreciated and valued!
Tried to study there, after 20 minutes flies constantly coming at my face I had to leave because I couldn’t focus when constantly having to brush flies off my face.
